Oh, every now and then, I'll go thru ones like Better Homes and take out pages I might want to save and get rid of the rest. But, Country Homes, Country Living, Romantic Country..Southern Living...no way do I let any of those go..nor do I tear out. I am thinking of passing those on now. I love Romantic Country, Mother Earth News, Herb Quarterly, Wohen & Garten (which is my very favorite!), and Country Gardens. Yours are decorating, mine are more gardens. I love Euro magazines with their decorating and gardens, as a matter of fact my cousin's son is coming over in a few months, and I asked for more German magazines! It is time though for me to "get rid" of some, and I do the same thing by pulling out what I like. I can see though by reading comments I'm not the only one who loves magazines!
Hope you have a great weekend!
Ulrike*Ulrike*https://www.blogger.com/profile/15640965012612927392noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3233955033219125564.post-71876154715533216572011-02-18T07:25:59.723-05:002011-02-18T07:25:59.723-05:00I subscribe to Our State, Victoria and Southern La...I subscribe to Our State, Victoria and Southern Lady. I find that I really read them if I'm sitting in a hotel room or an airplane. I generally pass them along unless I see something that I'd definitely do, then I'll keep the issue as a guide. Now I don't buy too many magazines anymore--too much advertising and too little content imho, but I do almost always buy the special interest publication Cottage Style when it comes out once (or twice?) a year (no advertising on every other page!). Occasionally I'll buy Country French.

Most of the time I can't bring myself to tear out pages. I have found that even though something in the magazine might not appeal to me or work for me today, in a year or two, the very look, color, style, accessory etc. I barely noticed before could jump out at me later and be the exact inspiration or idea I need to start (or put the finishing touches on) a project. I can't tell you how many times I have picked up an old decorating magazine and seen something in it through new and appreciative eyes. :)Shari @ My Cottage of Blisshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11438747359748779374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3233955033219125564.post-1410497444231068352011-02-17T17:25:12.142-05:002011-02-17T17:25:12.142-05:00I'm currently subscribing to UK Country Living...I'm currently subscribing to UK Country Living, Campagne Decoration (French) - they are my favorites, Romantic Homes, Victoria, and Country Living (which I've just canceled!). I've had a subscription to Country Living since the beginning of time, but I am not happy with the recent issues. I do not like the new size nor the new direction. It could be any old generic magazine and just doesn't look like Country Living any longer. I will probably let that one go. Of your stacks, I'm most intrigued by Veranda. As for me, I already have the check in the mail for Victoria. Not that it's a total decorating magazine, but because it's one to get lost in.
