Two of the options that would suit me are the half shutters that can be open unless needed and the soft flowing semi sheers, which I would put on rings to pull when needed and slide open when not needed, with perhaps some nice knobs or hold backs to tame them on either side.Gailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14240381173653268463noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3233955033219125564.post-77930800133487916602009-11-08T08:54:56.343-05:002009-11-08T08:54:56.343-05:00My choice would be plantation shutters.

If it were me, I'd be more inclined to try the honeycomb shade, exactly the width of the top window molding and mounted so that it is sitting right above the molding in hopes that it would blend in and be inconspicious. But you do need the privasy, so what about using a light weight curtain with a pretty rod and bring the curtains out on either side of the window maybe to the wall so it widens the window and when they are drawn open they will frame the beautiufl window and drape softly along side your tub.
Everything is so pretty and the bathroom looks like it will be very romantic so curtains will help with the romantic look.
So there's my two-cents.
Enjoy your weekend,
ElizabethElizabeth and Gary https://www.blogger.com/profile/15849231608931954395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3233955033219125564.post-47191209050037113322009-11-07T14:58:51.535-05:002009-11-07T14:58:51.535-05:00Hi Penny, I do love that leaded glass window. I have yet, after two years, figured out how to have privacy and not lose the lovely window. You can see right into my entire bathroom from my sister's home behind me. Your bathroom is going to be beautiful and this decision is a big one. I thought of those blinds that are softly pleated but I still am not in love with the idea. I did hang some battenburg like cafe and I do not like them in that space. I am very anxious to read your comments. You could have a wonderful, softly draped roman or balloon-type shade that is mounted above the window and just sits at the top of the trim, giving the appearance of a wonderful fabric valance, but when let down gives privacy while you enjoy the fantastic print of the fabric.
