It was so calming and relaxing with our swing at one end...that idea of the window is not only adorable (don't hit your head) but I agree would make it feel more private. I'm looking at the pic on the post below and that looks amazing too! I've never heard of it being done to ward off bugs, I have read somewhere way back in one of my Aunty's American historical architecture books, that it was done to simulate the sky. I remember it because I thought it was a fabulous idea, and if I ever had a porch, I'd love to paint the ceioling of it pale blue, just like that gorgeous photo! i can dream.....Natasha Burnshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17954070531490399099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3233955033219125564.post-26680396466814042092010-03-17T07:36:35.400-04:002010-03-17T07:36:35.400-04:00That looks so pretty. I've order a couple of throw pillows for the rocking chairs, and I want a large free-standing birdcage. I've been looking for a birdcage for years, but the perfect one hasn't been found - yet.Beverlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10535622044396271722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3233955033219125564.post-6995174116814826742010-03-16T18:14:23.937-04:002010-03-16T18:14:23.937-04:00Have a nice break Penny :)
