I usually don't start decorating for fall until October 1st. That is when it starts to cool off a little here in the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC.
So far, I have a few pots of mums and a couple of pumpkins.
I normally fill the two cement lion head urns by the front door with pumpkins and gourds, but my geraniums are still blooming. Once we have a frost I will change out the geraniums for something more fall like.
On the front door, I put up a grapevine wreath that I made a few years ago. You can read about how I made it here, if you missed it.
Today, the windows are being cleaned, inside and out by a professional. We are on a hill side and have dormers on the second floor, so we thought a professional was a
good smart idea.
Hopefully tomorrow the sun will be shining and I can get some pictures of a little inside fall fluffing.
