Deck The Halls?

While you all are decking the halls....I am painting the walls.  Today I painted the walls in the hall between the kitchen and dining room.  I have a big piece of furniture that has to be moved there, so that is where I started the painting.  Tomorrow I am painting the dining room.

Here is a sneak peak of the "lounge" area of our kitchen.  Our mover bought me the poinsettia.  Wasn't that sweet of him?

The settee in the background is new.  Of course, the walls have not been painted in the kitchen.  And I will be hanging curtains etc down the road.  Once that area has been painted, I will reveal the whole lounge area.

  4. Looking forward to seeing more! I will actually be painting a little this week. After I had my floor grout cleaned, I noticed how badly my baseboards needed to be painted! Always something!

  12. All I can say is that if your mover brought you a poinsettia you must be a STELLAR customer. Your lounge area is beautiful.

  24. How exciting! I can't wait to see your house decor unfold. Good luck with the painting ~ I've done plenty of that myself this year. I went through 18 gallons of paint redoing my house ~ shudder. :)

  28. That was a sweet thing for your mover to do! I bought a small pointsettia plant recently just to add a little Christmas cheer to my undecorated home. Be careful not to overdo, and hurt your shoulder again Penny!
