November Happenings

“Fallen leaves lying on the grass in the November sun bring more happiness than the daffodils”

Cyril Connolly

I took the picture above, from my front deck this morning.  It is a beautiful, cold November day.

Here is what's happening in my world for the month of November.

We closed on our new home today!  So for the next 26 days I will be packing, meeting contractors for quotes on hardwood flooring and painting and planning a very small Thanksgiving dinner.  Oh!  And my birthday is this month.  It actually falls on Thanksgiving!  Then on the 26th, we will move.

So this month is going to be a very busy, fun filled month!
Happy November!!

Many congratulations on getting your new home Penny. What fun ahead planning and changing it to suit you :o)
It's good that you can take your time with the packing, and get it all sorted as you'd wish.

OMG! You WILL be very busy this month. As soon as you move in, you'll be ready to start thinking about Christmas too! Your b-day is around the same day as my neice (Kim's daughter). I think hers is the 24th. Hers sometimes falls on Thanksgiving too.

Congratulations on your house closing Penny. It's never a deal until it's a deal. Take at easy packing and don't try to do too much at one time. I know you must excited.

When things happen, they REALLY happen. You will have a month jam-caked with activity, but at the end of it all you'll be in your new house and that will be lovely. All the best for all the activity!

Congrats!

I wish it was cold again! We're having some sort of freak heat wave. I'm in shorts and short sleeves and have the AC on!

Congratulations! You are going to be super busy this month ~ good luck with everything.
I had to smile over your last post because we have a white squirrel in our neighborhood, too. Everyone always thinks they are seeing things the first time they spot him. :)

Congratulations on closing on your home, Penny! I can't wait to see how you decorate it!

I have been busy packing even though we did not sell our house as yet. We want to move in January so I can be in CO for our daughter's last month of pregnancy. I've been in my house for 36 years, so you can imagine all that I've accumulated over the years..lol It's part packing, part weeding and throwing away stuff and donating stuff. Busy times!
