My sister and her husband just left. I miss them already.
We spent 4 days hiking, antiquing, visiting the Biltmore Estate and more.
Here are some of the pictures I took on a day we hiked in Dupont Forest.
It is beautiful around this area year round, but in the fall it is breathtaking.

That looks like a wonderful spot for hiking with the beauty of the trees and water. I like the covered bridge! This past week, I enjoyed a hike as well. It's good to experience the beauty of nature at this time of year.

Oh lovely, lovely, lovely. Yes, we did get out today and we even visited a covered bridge. Glad that you had so much fun with your sister and hope that you can get together again sometime soon. Perhaps she helps move? ☺

We went upstate NY to Rhinebeck this Saturday and had a lovely time walking around enjoying the autumn foliage.
I know you must have had a lovely time with your sister...it's always hard to say goodbye. It's nice that she got to enjoy beautiful Asheville with the best tour guide! ;-D

Absolutely gorgeous photos! I'm in Kansas and we are enjoying an unusually warm fall, so we have been outside taking advantage as much as possible. If my neck of the woods looked like yours, I may never go inside!

Attended an outdoor wedding in Nashville, TN on Friday. The colors around Nashville are awesome. Enjoyed driving through the area. Love this time of year.

Yesterday we went for a walk in the forest, up the Hydro cut to where we had a nice view. I love this time of year!
What lovely scenery. Water and autumn foliage combine to make some of the best walking grounds, I think.
