A couple of years ago, I started a guessing game on my blog called, Weekend~Where is It?
Basically, I showed you a picture of France or Italy and one of the United States, and asked you to guess whether it was in Italy/France or the United States.
I thought for fun, I would revive it for this weekend. Want to play?
So where is it? Both pictures were taken in an antique shop. Which picture is in the United States and which one is in France?
And just for the fun of it....whether you are right or wrong, as long as you take a guess, there will be a giveaway involved. Something to do with French/France. Sounds fun, doesn't it? I will announce the winner of the giveaway on Tuesday, September 11th.

I'd guess U.S. is the first photo and France is the second. Whew...that's a hard one.

I really don't like this game but you did make it easier by giving us multiple choice AND it's a giveaway post! I guess France for the 1st pick & US for the 2nd.
I think top pic is france- very elegant and subtle,2nd is USA-we always seem to try t put 10 lbs of stuff in a 5 lb. bag lol.
Hi....I am thinking USA for the first, and then France for the second....we don't seem to have a lot of beautiful window shopping shops........just my little opinion......this is fun.

Thisi is tricky. At first glance it would look like number one is from France, so elegant and classic, but I pick number 2 because of the birdcage!
My guess would be top photo - USA, bottom photo France. All I really have to go on is the old wire bird cage and the wooden thread spools, which seem more European to me.

BTW... have you looked outside of the Asheville area for a home? Waynesville is a great place to live and not too far from Asheville that you can't get there quickly...
