So what are you doing today?
I am sitting on my front deck, catching up on reading some of my favorite magazines.
Looking at my tomato plant that is slowly stopping production.
And watching all of the beautiful butterflies, flit around the butterfly bushes at the edge of the deck.
A perfect way to spend a waning summer day, don't you think?
So, what are you doing today?
Welcome Home,
Penny

Perfect way to spend the day! Have a great weekend Penny!
Such pretty butterfly photos...I can imagine you there on the deck enjoying your magazines and a refreshing drink watching the butterflies flutter about. (My tomatoes are looking quite a bit like yours.)
What kind of plant is that the butterflies are liking? Tomatoes look great!
Hugs!
Oh what a great way to spend a day. If it was cooler I would be outside too, but not in this heat. Enjoy, Hugs, Marty
Yes...PERFECT! Such beautiful pictures, Penny!

I'm painting and this may go on for a month lol..
It sounds like you are having a wonderful, peaceful day, Penny! Enjoy the weekend, too! It is supposed to be a scorcher here. Fall seems very far away!

I couldn't agree more! Glad to see you found that Country French magazine. Do you like it? Hope you have a wonderful and relaxing weekend!
Completely perfect way to spend any day. Back deck, front porch, hammock. It's all good!
A perfect way to spend the day that's for sure. I love sitting on our screened porch and listening to the quiet with a nice book in hand.

mmm that was a lovely interlude. Me? I'm just home from work - a glass of wine poured, water boiling for corn and the grill heating for ribs. Friday night and I'm happy to be home!
Hi Penny! I agree, sounds like a wonderful day!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I am smack dab in the middle of planning a wedding, two weeks left to get the details nailed down. Today is Lauren's shower at the church. We have just this week begun to get ripe tomatoes from our sweet 100's. Still no large ripe tomatoes! I'm looking forward to grabbing a few magazines and breathing deep in a couple weeks:>)
Sounds like a perfect end of summer day. Me? Getting a few last days in swimming. I like Fall but I'm not quite ready for it.
