Heel Toe Dosey Doe...Boot Scootin' Boogie

This post is long overdue!

Just as we were in the middle of selling our house and packing and moving into this rental home, I won the most fun giveaway ever!  Now after finally getting settled, I wanted to share this with you.

I won these wonderfully fabulous RED LEATHER COWBOY BOOTS!

I know!!! Aren't they fun?  Kathie Truitt, from Hillbilly Debutante  had this giveaway back in March.  Now I am hoping you all know Kathie, but if you don't let me tell you a little about her.

Kathie is a published author of two books, False Victim and The Hillbilly Debutante Cafe.  She maintains a blog, Hillbilly Debutante, Musings of a country girl stuck in the city, and a online shop where you can purchase her books and other fabulous things.

Speaking of books, you will love The Hillbilly Debutante!  It is filled with a great cast of characters set in the small town of El Dorado Springs, Missouri.

Thank you again Kathie for the red leather boots!  I love them, and I really enjoyed reading your book.
Welcome Home,
Penny

  8. How fabulous Penny - I love them! I only have short dusty green suede ones, perhaps I'll think about a pair of bright ones like yours for Fall - we could go Texas two stepping together!!!!! A really great win - I hope you wear them often with your jeans.

Off soon - yes, I know you're sick of hearing those words -------but early tomorrow, just like Penny & David, we'll be on our way too, I promise!!!

Hugs - thanks for the card dear.
    Much love, M&B

  23. I might possibly give up one of my children (depending upon what day it is) for those boots! Last August Zappo's and I had a love affair going on while I tried to fit my size 8.5's into some red boots. Never did get any. Better not have me to your house, cause I'd be huntin those boots!
