I went out shopping Friday afternoon and picked up a couple of chairs to makeover and put in my booth.
Here are the before pics...
Love the detail on the front feet. These will be getting a paint job and recovered. I will show you the finished chairs later this week.
On the gardening front. My tomato plant has little yellow flowers...that means baby tomatoes are not far behind.
Have a great Memorial Day Weekend!
Welcome Home,
Penny

Love the start of tomatoes!
The tomatoes sure love the heat... it gets their little blossoms a going, that's for sure.
I want to try growing some tomatoes soon...I have never tried it!!
I just bought the best fresh pepper and sea salt that make fresh tomatoes taste even better!
Happy Memorial Day to you!

Will be a busy week turning those chairs 'French' or 'farmhouse' perhaps...............whatever you do dear I know they will be splendiferous, ha! ha! Looking forward to seeing them - love chair makeovers and I've done my share, with more waiting in the wings, alog with several other projects of course!
I'm going to miss having tomatoes growing outside the door this year - will be at the Farmer's Market instead. Enjoy yours................the lettuce was so good in your salad, I must grow some later.
Hope you had fun with your company.
Happy day - Mary X
That's such an interesting foot on the bottom of your oak chairs. I'm used to seeing that on mahogany or cherry chairs. They will turn out nice once you re-do them! Looking forward to seeing those little yellow flowers on our tomato plants too. Now I know what to look for!
Those are great chairs can't wait to see them finished.
Hi Penny, I love anything with a claw foot. I can't wait to see what you do.
Mmmmmm, beautiful delicious baby tomatoes.
Happy Memorial day

As always, I'm looking forward to seeing your makeover! I won't have tomatoes for a long time - we just planted the little plants a few days ago!
I always look forward to seeing the finished product of your make overs. The chairs should be great.

The chairs are adorable, but I know you will make them even better.
I'm sure those chairs will be gorgeous when you're done with them (like the feet too).
They are very pretty chairs, Penny. I know you woill work wonders with them.
I can't believe my tomatoes plants also have blossoms ... it has been so hot and humid here they think it is already mid June!
