Front Porch Views

This was the view from my front porch yesterday...

This is the view from my front porch today...

No, I didn't have a new deck built and bull doze down the houses across the street.

We moved.  Yes, we did.

When we bought our house almost three years ago, we knew it was a temporary thing.  We knew we would fix it up and sell it.  Remember, it was a foreclosure and needed a lot of love.

So in the next post I will tell you all about it.  It is a side of me that most of you don't know about.  It is a great story.
Welcome Home,
Penny

  1. I cant wait to hear your story Penney.!

I did that too for 7 1/2 years- bought/ fixed and sold.. I look back on that time fondly. When I got hurt and walked away from that career I was able to buy My Own and pay cash for it with enough leftover to buy 2 nice rental homes which are basically my retirement fund lol. its hard work and its a little risky but as they say, No pain- No Gain. I wouldnt trade that experience .

  19. I can only say that I'm SHOCKED! I had no idea since you were just getting your studio settled the way you wanted and the paint colors and kitchen and backyard and garden the way you wanted. I had NO idea you were contemplating this. You are a good secret keeper! Ok, you're going to have to spill the beans soon or I'm going to burst.
