I took a walk outside yesterday to see if there were any signs of spring. Look what I found!
Candy Tuft blooming.
Crocus...
Lily leaves...
Bradford Pear tree blossoms budding...
Maple Leaf buds.....
Looks like I will be using these tools soon!
Are there signs of spring in your area yet?
Welcome Home,
Penny

Well you might not think so to look at the photo outside my front window this morning, though I do have daffodils well up through the ground. They're not blooming yet, of course, but soon. I hope. Lovely hints of spring in your corner!
You are soooo far ahead of us, but it always gives me hope when I see things blooming there because I know we are right behind you! I see tiny green shoots just beginning to peek out of the ground here. I. Can't. Wait:>)
YES! We have buds on our trees. TIny green buds. Tiny pink buds. Lots of spring happening here!
This is a fun time to see new life in the yard, isn't it? We've got some sprouts coming up in the flower beds right now and my jasmine vine is blooming on my arbor. Looks like you'll be having some pretty flowers in your yard very soon!
Your yard is going to be beautiful Penny! Believe it or not our trees and what not did not peek their fall color till right before Christmas. This crazy weather has everything all off. I noticed the azaleas and hawthorne are starting bloom here! Hope you have a fab Friday!:)
Our cherry trees, daffodils and some other blooming things are almost done already because we had the 2 80 degree days this week! The lawns are turning green and the leaves are getting reading to burst out! I love Spring. Today it is rain and thunder and lightning storms-not too fond of that! Have a great weekend Penny!
There are buds everywhere and crocuses in the sunny spots. I checked the candytuft yesterday and it is still in hiding - too cold!
No signs of spring yet here but I'm sure we will see some flowers popping up in the next few weeks?!?!?!
Have a great weekend :o)

Warmer temps here, storms brewing too, always part of spring! I have really enjoyed watching for spring this year! The crocus were so pretty this year!!
I posted about the same thing this morning! Yes, spring has definitely sprung here in Georgia! Temps. in the upper 70's again today! I'm ready!!!
WOW you bradford pear is peeking early, mine is not like that yet, and I am in South Carolina. Can't wait to see more of your gardens.
Spring will be here soon. Hot here today and my bluebonnets are already blooming. Enjoy your weekend!

I was thinking of wandering the yard and snapping a few photos earlier this week and then the deluge hit. I'm going to head out this weekend and see what's going on. I can see the climbing flowers outside my kitchen window are blooming again, but I don't think there's much else yet.
There are buds everywhere and crocuses blooming. But I'm longing for sunny days - it's just so grey.
I answered your poll, however, I didn't put down anything for working - I substitute teach and I guess that's working outside the home, but I don't do a lot of it.
I love how early spring comes to you! There is NOTHING blooming hewre and won't be for awhile. Enjoy it all lucky girl!
XO,
Jane
Oh your potting bench looks so new and organized. Mine is so old, but it is hidden from view. Tons of spring blooms here. Bonnie
What glorious blue skies, Penny! So good to see the signs of spring.
Hugs, Carol
Well if you have spring signs, then it can't be far behind here....
Lovely to see things growing!

Oh my this is a great post, mostly because I remember the feeling of seeing the first signs of spring as well. When we lived in Missouri I would go out to see what I could find and would get so excited to see just a hint of color or green. It would give me such a lift out of the winter blahs. Now that we are living in Arizona, it's much different. We have two seasons here, wonderful and hot. I don't get the winter blahs anymore, which I think is a good thing.
It's beginning to look like that around here, too. Candy Tuft is a perennial? Yikes, I love Candy Tuft. I'll have to add it to my list.
