Happy first day of Spring!
The weather has been so beautiful here, that last night we had a "picnic".
I made fried chicken and potato salad. Yum! Definitely not the most healthy dinner in the world, but boy was it good!
Thank you for you sweet words on my French settee. I will do a tutorial in the next day or two.

Fried chicken...I can't think of anything I love better than that!
Looks delicious! Fried chicken was made to be paired with potato salald!
Penny it may not be healthy, but oh it is my favorite. Yummy! Bonnie
Good Morning Penny,
Oh my stars, now this looks amazing! I love fried Chicken, Gary is always after me to fry a few legs for him. I don't care much for the legs but he does (have to keep the boys happy)LOL.
Miss Colette is beautiful, she is just stunning!Penny you did a incredible job. You found the perfect piece to create your french settee.
Have a sweet day and hugs, Elizabeth
Penny,
That chicken looks delish and who cares about the calories. You have to splurge occasionally or what would be the point. We're having BLT's and potatoe salad tonight. It's spring and I wanted cool food.
Hugs, Gretchen
Love me some fried chicken too. It's been years since I have fried chicken, usually BBQ or bake or broil. Think I'm going to fry it next time. All your fault!!!! Looks delish.
Penny, did you know that I've been wanting some potato salad? Did you save some for me?
Your settee looks fabulous. I know you must be thrilled, and you found the perfect spot for it in your bedroom.♥
Hmmm. Sure looks good, and I'm Sure it tastes great.
Oh Penny this post just made me so hungry! That looks GOOD!!
The perfect food for spring! Outside no less! Even better.
LOL that is exactly what we're having tonight! You read my mind!!!
hugs
Sandi
Homemade Potato Salad! My favorite!!!!
AWWW come on. How can anything that looks that good be unhealthy? Pass the plate?
The first day of spring? Really? Can't prove it by me, it's rainy & windy in the good ol' Pacific Northwest. Except for a few new leaves here and there, it looks pretty much the way it has since, oh say, November!
But I gotta say -- the chicken and potato salad look and sound terrific!
Oh my! That has got my mouth watering! I love fried chicken and homemade potato salad. That is one great summer meal. We had speghetti tonight, but I would've preferred your meal!
Oh my...two of my favorite things to have on my plate!!!
Blessings,
Linda
HOLY COW...I love FRIED CHICKEN....
this looks more than awesome....:)
Fried chicken - I've never, ever tried to make it. Is it hard? I love it, when I can get it in a restaurant!
I'd be happy to pull up a chair and polish off what is on that plate.

We had that same supper on Sunday night, except I bought my chicken. My grandmother and aunt used to fry the most delicious chicken—still my all-time favorite meal!
Wow I would love having this great meal at lunch...my granny made great fried chicken....yummy
