A Celebration!

Tonight I am going over to a friend's house for a celebration dinner.  You see, my friend was diagnosed with breast cancer several months ago.

After having a mastectomy, she endured several weeks of chemo, followed by several weeks of radiation.

Today was her last radiation treatment.  Now her life will get back to her new normal.

I'm bringing these flowers to her, to help her celebrate.

Ladies....go get your YaYa's checked....please!
Welcome Home,
Penny
p.s. as promised, I added two more mosaic kits to my ETSY shop...both are transferware.

  13. That is such a sweet thing to do for her! I'm sure it will be a wonderful celebration. Breast cancer is such a scary thing. A friend of ours battled it a few years ago and beat it. Thank goodness. She was middle aged with no family history. You just never know!

  14. That is so good. Have a happy celebration.

My childhood friend was not so lucky and she lost her battle with breat cancer. That was in the 80s and now things have changed alot, but we still need to be checked.
