Where do you display your Christmas cards?
We display ours in a little vintage metal sleigh. When I grew up, I remember my mom stretching string from the top of the tree to the wall (I think it was there to keep the tree from being knocked over). Then she would place the cards over the string.
So what do you do with the Christmas cards you receive?
p.s. another new makeover on my other blog, Flea Market Makeovers...

I like them corraled in the little sleigh. That's a cute idea. I don't receive as many cards as I used to and I don't send out as many either. I decided to only send cards out to people that we wouldn't have a chance to see in person over the holidays. That has saved us time and money. I'm sure the post office isn't too happy about that though.
Years ago my dad made us a Christmas-themed post box on a stand, that we bring out during the season. So that's usually where our incoming cards are housed. It's always nice to pull out the pile and re-read them at leisure.
I like how you have them in one container. I usually hang them on a door in our entry, however this year I have them in a little basket.
Penny, your home is so pretty all decked out in Christmas!
Have a lovely Christmas and thank you for all of your inspiration this year.
big hugs,
Becky
Hi Penny. Our cards are in a large silver bowl this year. It changes from year to year, depending on my mood. Sometimes I leave them on a silver tray, other times in a basket. Love the sleigh! ~ Sarah
Our Christmas cards are in a Christmas card holder that my mother has had since I was a child. It makes me smile every year when I unpack it.
Yours look so pretty in the sleigh. And, your gorgeous pot makes for a perfect Christmas setting.
I love your card sleigh! I usually put our cards in a huge pottery bowl I've got where everyone can see it.
Our cards are taped to red ribbons that hang down from the top of a door. I love getting mail so this is a happy time of the year for me.

I put my Christmas cards in a basket but my Mom always kept them in a little wooden sleigh similar to yours. So very lovely. Merry Christmas Penny!
Great idea keeping them in that pretty sled Penny, I also love the little evergreen in the red transferware bowl! I keep all our cards in a Santa basket on the floor in our family room.
I love the way you displayed yours. Mine are stuck in the vintage wooden card file on my kitchen wall. Didn't get very many this year. It is getting to be less and less each year.
I send and receive many Christmas cards as I have a big family and the only time of year I hear from most of them is Christmas. I tape mine across the opening between the dining room and kitchen where we can all enjoy them.
Your sleigh is adorable! This year I have my cards in a little santa basket on my coffee table in the family room. I usually hang them in the doorways of my kitchen though.

I love your sleigh...I generally put mine in a basket on the coffee table..then, when the kids come, they go through all of them.
I keep looking for a great way to display them but haven't come up with a good one yet.
I do the same thing you do. Pop them in my little sleigh. No more stringing them up and counting them. Many folks have stopped sending cards. I don't send as many as I used to..but I still send the old fashioned way.
Electronic is ok..but I cannot save them as a momento in my scrap book..which I do.
Merry Christmas, Penny! It's been a wonderful year visiting you!
Hugs and love,
Mona
In an effort to be truly artsy, I have mine taped all over a mirror. Hahahahaha... I prefer your antique sleigh.
I tried something new this year. I hung some jute twine across an old window I having hanging in my kitchen passthrough and clipped all my cards on with miniature clothes pins. I love it. Merry Christmas!
Congrats on 900 followers!

Great use of your sleigh!
I am going to hang my cards on a tree this year. We'll see how it turns out!
Hi Penny! Oh, I love your little sleigh for your Christmas cards! I have a little silly Christmas basket that I put mine in. I'm going to be on the lookout for a sleigh now! ;)
Love the looks of that table!
Merry Christmas, sweet friend.
You are a sweetie,
shelia ;)
What a great way to display your cards. Mine are scattered all over the place.
I put our Christmas cards in a Christmas flower pot that's decorated with holly leaves. Love your red sleigh.
Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas, Penny!
Love what you're mom did Penny! I do one of two things. Either I tape them all around my big mirror in my entryway (this year) or I drape fresh garland over my two doorways in my living room (double door size) and staple the cards to the garland.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas Penny :)

Hi. I've got ours tucked into an iron and glass mirror hanging in my informal dining room. Wishing you and yours a lovely holiday. Cheers, -s
I keep them althogether in a basket.
As a child I remember they were hung be hung on a wire frame my Father made over the fireplace. Unfortunately, I think the tradition of sending out Christmas cards is fading away. Rather sad.
Merry Christmas
CHRISTmas Blessings from my mountain top to your home…May it be the best one ever..Hugs and Love Gloria.
Mine go into a big silver bowl in the living room.
I love how you keep them in the sleigh. We keep ours in a little red basket with a stuffed bear in a santa hat on it. We have been doing it for years. I don't even remember where we got the basket. Then on New Year's Eve we go through all the cards with our best friend's (who we spend each new year's eve with).
My cards are in a tray at the moment but I'm thinking of stringing them across my chalkboard:>) I like to enjoy them and they are so cheerful and sent by such loving people. Why not enjoy them while I can?!
Mine are on a small table under the little fairy tree in our dining room.
Merry Christmas Penny!
