As promised, a night picture of the front entry.
If you missed it, the daylight version is in the previous post.
It is raining here this morning. So no more Christmas pictures - too dark in the house. We might get a little snow tomorrow. I am working on the loft area still, and pulling staples from the French settee still....

So pretty! Raining here, too. My house is a wreck. I started pulling out the Christmas stuff yesterday and haven't been able to half way start. Bailey got worse again and I am getting ready to take her to the vet. Ugh!
Gorgeous Penny!! The rain is coming here tomorrow:( Sure hope it stops for Wednesday, my mom is taking all of us to Radio City to see the Christmas Show. It's an early Christmas present:)
That gives me the urge to some sing a carol and sip some hot chocolate. It is very inviting.
Oh Penny, it is beautiful. I love your lanters and the trees, such a beautiful entry. Hugs, Marty
Even prettier than the daylight pic and that was pretty! I love those flameless candles in the lanterns!~Hugs, Patti
Beautiful!
What a warm welcoming entry. That says a lot to a guest on a cold winter day.
It's so pretty, Penny!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Very nice, Penny!!
Your porch is beautiful Penny.
I finished ours this morning and posted it. It is very chilly here so I didn't stay outside long, at all!
Lovely! Even magical. Yes, I hear that it'll be much, much colder in your corner than in mine. Whacked air streams or something. Enjoy your taste of winter!
Your entry is beautiful by day and by night! Love the idea of putting the battery operated lights in the lanterns.
Love your evening shot! I wish I could've use fresh greenery like you did. It always drapes better. We're a little too warm for it though. We have a lousy rainy, windy, cloudy, cold (get the idea?) day here too. We may get snow flurries, but no accumulation because the ground is too warm. Thank goodness I got my outside decorating done first.
It looks so pretty Penny
Kathy :)
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, especially if it snows tomorrow.
Sam
How warm and inviting the entrance to your home is. It just says Merry Christmas!
You are helping move me toward Christmas! Hugs!
Penny, this is gorgeous day or night. What a beautiful, welcoming home you have.
So pretty! I can imagine that anyone heading up the steps to your house would be enchanted.
Your poor hands - all those staples!
Very, very pretty Penny! Raining here in Charlotte too! I got soaked running into the grocery store on the way home from work tonight! YUCK!!
The one consolation of winter....Christmas light and greenery:>) Your entry looks so beautiful and welcoming. I love the natural look!
Very pretty Penny! I can not wait to see the settee!!
Love your entryway Penny! It's Welcoming and festive.
Oh Penny what a warm welcoming waiting for your holiday guests! Can' wait too take a peek inside!
Hugs,
Maryjane
Looks beautiful Penny...enjoy the snow and be sure to take some pics for us.
Blessings,
Linda
Penny, your front porch is so inviting!! Love the lights, lanterns, skates and the garland! Who wouldn't like to knock on your red door!! Have a great week!
So pretty, and I like the bits of light from inside the house, just adds to the warmth of the welcome.
Good thing you got that staple puller :-)
Darla
Gorgeous!! I think I'm in love with your entrance ~ even without the decorations though!
I absolutely LOVE the red door! So festive and pretty any time of the year. I'm also searching for some outdoor lanterns myself. Where did you get your?
Pure elegance!!!!
No rain, just 49 MPH winds here - tons of fall foliage all over!
xx
very warm and inviting Penny! They say we may even get some snow flakes tonight but mostly cold rain. Right now the wind is blowing like crazy....bringing in the cold weather I imagine. xo
Beautiful door, makes me want to knock and come in for a visit.
Just lovely!
Penny this is just so beautiful!! I love the urns and the lanterns are such a fantastic touch. Thank you so much for sharing this at the Doors and Porches party! :-)
Vanessa
