I spent the afternoon today hanging the garland around the front door and lighting the trees and wreath.
I am going to try to get a picture tonight with the candles in the lanterns lit. They are the battery operated kind, but they look so real!

Just so pretty! I put up a small artificail tree in the dining room today and a garland and lights in the kitchen. I'm taking it slow this year but it already feels more like Christmas:>)

That pine garland with the twinkle lights is how I do my front doorway too Penny. I like how the pine just drapes down all wispy like. Love the trees and the urns and the lanterns it really is so welcoming!

Love your decorated porch. I bought the white pine roping like that and put it on my stairs today partially. I didn't get enough and had to go back. I am moving slow on the decorating, but am sure it will get done by the end of the week.
Very inviting porch. I like the fake candles and I use them, but I must admit I prefer the real ones when I can use them because the light is warmer and brighter.
