Special Guests

We have some wonderful friends coming for Labor Day  Weekend.

The sewing of the master bedroom curtains has been put aside for a few days.

The pillows have been fluffed.

The chocolates have been placed in a vintage transferware teacup on the night stand.

Fresh flowers have been brought in.

I am off to great my guests.  Have a wonderful weekend everyone!  See you in a few days.
Welcome Home,
Penny

I am sure your guests are enjoying your guest room. And you probably could give me some tips for sewing a slip cover for a large foot stool --toile and ticking ... And, the beach boys concert looked amazing! Have a great weekend with your guests!

Lucky devils, know they will be spoiled rotten by the best hosts ever, and in your beautiful house!!!

Bob and I think of you both often and wish so much we could find a little block of time to get back your way, especially during the lovely western Carolina Autumn. I'll be gone so long with the two back to back trips, in fact it will be almost Christmas by the time I'm settled here at home for a while! Besides missing special Birthdays, Halloween, and Thanksgiving, I don't see myself doing much for Christmas either!

Happy weekend. I'm off to Washington D.C. on Mon. to visit the Vietnamese Embassy.........for a visa!!!

Hugs - Mary (and Bob)

Hi Penny...such a lovely room. I was wondering if you have ever been featured by Sherry at No Minimalist Here for her Open House Linky Party?I am guest hosting for a few weeks while she is on vacation. I'd love to feature your home but I can't ask her if she's featured you because obviously she's out of contact. Let me know when you have a minute...the linky party goes up Wed. night. Thanks!

Good morning Penny, I have missed a few of your post and I just caught up this morning. I hope your time with your company is terrific. Your bedroom and all the sweet things you have done to make your guests feel welcome, looks so nice.

I am so envious that you saw the Beach boys. I love their music. I know you had a wonderful time.

The curtains you are going to make will be gorgeous and perfect for your guest bedroom. You are a wonderful decorator Penny. I love your style.

I am looking forward to seeing you in Oct. Also, to the addition of a new bird house made by you.

Hugs, Jeanne
