Master Bedroom Curtain Reveal


I finished the master bedroom curtains!  I even made a couple of pillow shams to coordinate with the curtains.  I still want to paint the little side table by the chair.  I would love to replace or reupholster that chair someday.  I started recreating the lampshade on the standing lamp behind the chair, but I need to get some red gimp to replace the top white gimp.

  21. I absolutely love the curtains and you have inspired me to pick up some fabric and get sewing. Our guest room has no curtains and I can't stand bare windows. My style if very traditional with some American antiques and some French inspired white pieces similar to your dresser.

  25. The curtains look fabulous and I really like the way you made a pair for the door. That really looks perfect and the shams... It's all pulling together beautifully. You could quit and no one would be the wiser. You won't, but you could!

    My favorite decorating style? Early Grandmother's Attic perhaps. ☺ Seriously, do I have a decorating style? I don't think so.

    As for me, well you know what I like in my little cottage - some shabby mixed with Swedish country, tossed with a bit of industrial, and a ton of French........so guess the bottom line would be eclectic!

  55. I think the curtains give the room a "finished" look as well as the cozy look you mention. My decorating style, as close as I can name it, would be the Arts and Crafts era, think small California Bungalow.

    I love how your curtains turned out! they really added a lot of charm and sophistication to the room, not that the room wasn't already pretty enough. It just made it even more beautiful!

  73. I sure don't know how I missed this. The curtain panels are perfectly you and stunning. But what a big job! Bet you're glad it's over. I'm not exactly sure what my decorating style is at the moment. It's a mix of cottage, English country and maybe a little vintage thrown in. My all time favorite designer is Sarah Richardson. I'd like to think my style is a bit like her's. At least I'm working on it!
