What a wonderful quote, by my favorite author. Lovely photo too. I went pumpkin hunting yesterday and found a beautiful one at one of my local farms. They had engraved the word WELCOME into the pumpkin. I asked the price, and he said $30.00. Ugg, it had been $15.00 on Saturday. I left pumkinless, and went to another farm and bought a beautiful pumkin, a Cinderella pumpkin and fresh vegetables for my soup for dinner. I got a stylist and I am going to engrave my own WELCOME. I'll post the results soon.

Those fall colors are starting to dot the landscape. The turns are starting to turn a little and I see people adding mums each day. Pumpkin stands are every where and I am happy it is fall, but sad, as summer is gone and winter is near. Thanks for sharing. Richard from My Old Historic House.

I see another old wagon there.. :) This morning I looked out my window to see my son in law returning some plants to me that have been taken mistakenly when he picked up my daughters. (I was careing for them for awhile and poor son in law didn't know what was mine and what was daughter's. Long story! :) Anyway..the old wagon returned to daughter this morning.
My daughter is a homemaker to the max and loves her things but thought there would be no room in her new home for all she had acquired so reluctantly let her wagon go. I told her if she ever wanted it back she could have it..and she assured me she wouldn't...
But..my heart told me it hurt her to let it go.
So when they decided to call off the move..at least for now..the wagon went home.
And I am glad.
I feel good that you share my love of old wagons..or even new for that matter.
This wagon was special..but I think most are.
