Jenn from Sweet Eye Candy Creations, has gone home. If you want to see more of what we did while Jenn was here, click on the link. There are some wonderful pictures there! While she was here we managed to fit in a day of antiquing. I purchased some plates to break for my mosaics.
I had a wonderful time visiting with Jenn. Here we are on my back porch, just before going out antiquing.
So today, I am back to working on my master bedroom curtains. The reveal in a couple of days, along with a giveaway.
What are you doing today?
Welcome Home,
Penny

What a nice visit you had with Jen and antiquing together. I'm really looking forward to seeing your curtains. Cute toile ironing board cover too. You're inspiring me to do some sewing.
Have a great week,
Babs
Glad you had a great visit. Those dish patterns are very pretty and will make some lovely mosaics.
It is fun to shop with a friend isn't it? Antique shops make it even better.
Today is errand day for me, library, bank, produce market, that sort of thing.

I can't wait to see what you make with those plates.
Debbie
Noooooo. Those plates are way too pretty to break!!!
You two girls are so beautiful! I am glad that the two of you had the chance to visiti again! Now ... darn it... I wish I could have come along. Antique hunting with you two sounds like a super fun day!
xxoo
Go ahead, break 'em.................you make them even more beautiful as mosaics Penny dear!
What a lovely pic of you and pretty Jen - I just know she loved where you took her. ScreenDoor perhaps?
I see you've left the land of the redheads Penny! I love the way you look with your natural color - if only I could get back to mine I think I would too! My colorist says best way would be to shave it and let it grow in grey - it will be a while before I could commit to anything that drastic - perhaps after all the trips are done with!!!!!
Happy week in the mountains dear friend.
I know you had a ball!! Both of you girls look so pretty!
XO,
Jane
I'm working on my rug. I wish I had a porch that is as lovely as yours!!!!. Aren't blog friends wonderful? I'd feel bad about breaking those beautiful plates if your mosaics weren't so beautiful. Can't wait to see what you do with them.
So glad you and Jen had a good visit. Your 'finds' are wonderful. I'm enjoying a quiet - and cooler - day at home after a week of vacation. I'm doing laundry and unpacking the remaining things from our little cabin-on-wheels. Just loving being at home again.

Can't wait to see those curtains - we're sure it will pull an already fabulous room together!!
Pretty plates, Penny, I'm not sure I'd want to break those, but I know you will make something beautiful with them. Looks like you had a wonderful weekend with Jen.
Happy sewing!
How sweet Penny! Glad you enjoyed your visit and some shopping too!
Glad you had a nice visit. Looking forward to seeing the curtains hung and done!
How wonderful to meet another blog friend and have the weekend to share! It sounds like you had great fun, I wish I could have been there:>) I bet you'll have those curtains done in a jiffy. Can't wait to see them all up!
Thank you Penny for a lovely weekend. I had a ball and enjoyed our time together. :) See you soon! Hugs, Jenn
