I have wanted a cookbook stand for quite some time now. You know how it is when you are trying to cook and read the recipe and the pages keep closing? In the past, I tried setting cans on top of the page, the corner of a bowl etc. But the pages kept closing anyway.
I love to cook. I have been struggling with cookbooks for 35 years. Why did I wait so long?
I love my new cookbook stand with the rooster on top.
p.s. I have had company for a few days and am behind on my visits. I will catch up soon!
Welcome Home,
Penny

This is a great stand, Penny! Only you could make a cookbook on it's stand look so pretty! I spy little Roosters! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Your cookbook stand is great. Is it a Paula Deen one? I like the way the front comes up a bit higher to help hold the book open. Mine is a titch too low.
I'm checking out your followers and, for me, they are showing 7 at a time all 766 of them. Nope, let's correct that, they must have been loading, now they're showing 4 rows of 6. Interesting.
Hope that you had a great time with your company and that the weather was cooperative.
Love it Penny. I have one somewhere. hmmmm
Love it too! So handy when cooking.

That's on my list to find also. Yours is perfect!
Very cute and so handy!~Hugs, Patti
Oh, I love it too!!!
Hugs!
What a cute stand Penny, love the other roosters too! Martina
Have fun with your company, Penny. I love your cookbook stand too!
Cute book holder Penny! I was just thinking I hadn't seen a post in a few days and wondering what fun you might be having:>)
I love your new cookbook holder also. Why didn't I go out and get one years ago?
Currently I am using magnets to hold pages to the cupboard hinges...sigh.

Penny, this one was made for your beautiful kitchen.
That is one of the prettiest cookbook stands I have ever seen! Just perfect in your lovely kitchen! :-)

Love the rooster on top! I'll have to find my cookbook stand...I know it's around here somewhere.

And, you found the perfect one for your kitchen. It looks so pretty.
Useful AND attractive. My favorite combination. I think I might need one.

It's very pretty, Penny! I finally bought a cookbook stand while on vacation in Napa Valley last year. One of the winery gift shops had a sale I knew it was a bargain when I saw it marked down to $10!
Very cute - and useful!
I don't know why we wait so long to buy something we need! So practical.
This gives me an idea for using a wrought iron easel I have for a cookbook stand. Isn't that funny how just seeing someone elses post turns on a light bulb in your head?
Have fun with your company!
It's both functional and pretty! I think I need one too now!
You are so right Penny. We should all get one of those to make our lives easier. Yours is adorable with the little roo!
xoxo,
Kim
I love how this one holds the book. I have a couple but the books lie at more of an angle. Would like to find one like yours. It's great! Is it adjustable, so as to have the book lean backward more and upright also?
That's a really cute one! I just realized I rarely use cookbooks since most of my recipes come from somewhere on the net!
What a cute cookbook holder Penny. The ones that don't hold your book just right are so frustrating. Looks like you've found a real winner plus it fits your decor to a tee.

Hi Penny,
That is a lovely cookbook stand. That rooster is perfect for your kitchen. I have been browsing your posts to catch up. Summer has taken me away and I have not been keeping up with blogging. I feel so guilty, when I can't visit my favorites. You are one of my dear favorites always.
Have a beautiful day.
Karen
Mine is a functional clear plastic one which does keep the pages clean - the book slides inside - but your's is so much more elegant, love it Penny!
Hugs - Mary
Very pretty....I like those too...but no counter space. I hope you are enjoying it after waiting so long!!
I love these Penny~you will too. Mine has two chains with ball weights to hold the pages down. They are a good (and pretty) invention.
Penny, Enjoy your company. We have friends coming in too. When the dust settles we will get together. Miss you.
Hugs, Penny
PS. Thanks for your support on the contest I entered. Should have known that you would have my back. You are the best! Love ya.
Love it! Can you please share where you purchased it? I'd love to have one and it would go perfect in my "rooster" themed kitchen!
Super cute! Is it a Paula Deen one?
It is just so you Penny! Perfect. Mimi
Hi Penny,
I love your rooster cook book stand..I have one too and use it all the time....
"Henri" sends his love and says he is enjoying watching Gary snore in his big easy chair every night LOL...Henri can see him from the dining room table...
Have a sweet day and big hugs, Elizabeth
