Bye Bye Black!

The black is all gone.  The table and chairs are a beautiful creamy white.

Are they going to stay this way - perfect, no flaws, like brand new?

No sireeee.

Tomorrow I am going to have some fun... and it starts with a harlequin stencil.

Speaking of stencils, you have to go read BJ at Sweet Nothings (laugh out loud) posts here and here about the trying time she had using a stencil.  In the end, she created something really beautiful!
Welcome Home,
Penny

I have a table that looks almost just like that. It looks super white, Penny! Maybe I'll get around to painting it light like your beauty some day.

Good lawd, what are you up to? Just when I'm trying to bend my mind around the fact that you've switched from black to white, you're going to stencil a harlequin pattern? This should be fun!

It looks beautiful, but now I am curious to see what you will be doing next. I'm also curious to know if you did a post on how you went about painting it? Just wondering as I am considering doing the same thing, but since I have never done it I'm a bit hesitant.

You are adventurous, Penny! I'm looking forward to seeing your end result. It's coming along great! I need to paint, too, but when will I find the time? aaggghhh...... I did find a local source for the chalk paint, so I'm happy about that!

That looks beautiful! The red china cabinet in the background looks fabulous!!! I would be so afraid to paint a piece of furniture a red, but WOW it looks just wonderful!!! I am such a scaredy cat! I am seriously thinking of painting an old wardrobe turquoise, I have seen a lot of turquoise painted furniture and it always looks so beautiful and I have just added that color to my living room and I am playing with that idea.

Super job Penny! Shame you don't live in my neck of the woods - I need some encouragement to bit the bullet and paint some pine furniture ;o)
Looking forward to the harlequins.
