Mantel Fluffing

I took down the grapevine balls and the chippy candlesticks from the mantel.

I found this wonderful planter at a website called Favorite Things Home Decor

I love the color, the Fleur De Lis on the front and back, plus the lion face on the sides.

Now my mantel looks like this...

I still have some fluffing to do with it.  I am looking for some great candlesticks to replace the hurricane lamps.

I have the same exact planter Penny. I have mine in my kitchen on top of the cabinets. I found it in Home Goods last year. Your mantel looks great! Martina

Penny, that planter you ordered looks great. I may have to get one of those, too. You know we like the same stuff, my twin.

This is a beautiful new BLOG LOOK here, is it not? It has to be. It "hit me in the eye," in a very pleasant way of course. And I love, love, love to notice when people put on a new blog look.

It's so much fun for me, to change blog looks. I love it, when people bother to change their blog looks too.

Thank you for bothering. :-)

Gentle hugs...

What type of candles are you looking for Penny? I actually saw some fabulous ones at a local Goodwill last week and am kicking myself for not buying them to resell at the shop. They were large, French looking, and very tall and stately!
