Playing....playing with my camera. Trying to learn how to use it.
I have it on manual...that is a step in the right direction :-).
Aren't these wooden birds cute? I got them at a local nursery this Christmas and used them on my mantel.
The bowl was made by a Louisiana artist from reclaimed Cypress wood.
Hope you are having a great weekend!
Welcome Home,
Penny

I love the wooden birds thaey are so pretty. I always love bird and bunny figurines. And your pictures look great.
This is the perfect time to be playing, Penny, as long as it doesn't hurt your shoulder. Your arrangement is pretty...I LOVE that bowl!

Hi Penny. Looks like you certainly getting the hang of it. You have a good camera. I am still trying to take better pictures. I think I need a class!
Xoxo, Kim
Beautiful photos and once again love the birds! I am hoping for a new camera as I have recently in the last couple years become very interested in photography....I love photo memories :-)
Hugs!
Hi Penny
Those birds are too cute, and the bowl is lovely :-) Your photos are always splendid, I'm afraid photography for me will always be a point and shoot!
Love those little birds. Have fun with your camera!
Hugs,
Donna
Your birds and the bowl are both gorgeous. Your pics are fabulous too. Great job. Hugs, Marty
That bowl and those birds are fantastic! And so are your photos. I tried to venture a little ways away from my comfort zone with my camera the other and made my poor doggie look like he had a hangover! Think I need to practice that one a bit more before I venture any further.

Love the carved bird! I'm dreaming of the day that I get a new camera!

Your birds are lovely and I think you're doing well with the new camera.
Nice photos! When in doubt, shoot manual. It hardly ever disappoints.

What beautiful pics! Looks like you are mastering the artform;)!
The photos look nice and clear, have you found any online tutorials? I love the birds, they look so natural and pretty in the polished wood:>)
I have been using manual too on my point and shoot. Sometimes it looks too yellow. Something in my white balance is off, but don't know how to fix it. Love your bowl and birds.
Your photos look great and I love the wooden birds and bowl!
The pictures look great! If you are already in manual and your pictures look that good, you are doing very well! Have fun playing with the new camera!
Wow, those photos really bring out the wood grain in the birds. Nicely done!
Hi Penny...your shoulder must be doing better if your able to take pictures....I hope it's feeling better...love the little birds...Are you having beautiful weather up by you like we are having here in Atlanta....it got to 71 today!!

Love your brown and white transferware dish with your birds, Penny! Your pictures are looking great, but you always had good pictures. I got a new camera for Christmas and have been using it since. I think it really helps my pictures look so much better. I'll be looking to take a photography class in the Spring to help me use and understand it better.
LOve your wooden treasures Penny!
Adorable birdies - and your pics are always great Penny!
