Life Is Good.
Notice anything different in the picture below?
If you guessed that I was not wearing my sling, you are right! I am being weaned from my sling. I still have to wear it in public, like the grocery store, mall etc. But at home I can leave it off.
I still can't raise my arm above my shoulder to blow dry my hair. I still have therapy twice a week for the next two months , but things are progressing!
I case you were trying to read what my t-shirt says...
Yep....Life Is Good!
Welcome Home,
Penny

So glad you are healing and doing better!
It's nice to hear you're progressing. It must be really frustrating to have limitations on what you're able to do.

Wow! Congratulations! Your T-shirt is perfect for the occassion. And I'm glad you are wearing your sling when you go out...just for added protection until your shoulder is strong again. That will be very soon. It sure is good to see your arm down by your side at home. Congratulations.
You really are making progress with your camera. It seems each time I use mine I learn something new. However, for some reason, I haven't been able to take a decent picture in weeks. I will try, try, again!
Brilliant Penny! So please you are progressing so well :o)
Yay! I'll bet it feels great to be free of the sling (mostly). Just watch that you don't overdo now. We want you at 100% as soon as possible.

Woohoo! Good for you Penny!
I'd recognize the writing on your shirt anywhere, Penny. Great news getting rid of the sling, if only parttime. You're making excellent progress.
Yes, life certainly is good and just got a whole lot better seeing you with a little more freedom now! Way to go girl!! At least you haven't been sitting about over-eating from looks of that svelte shape. Still the lovely slim Penny - even with DH cooking!
Hugs - Mary
