Where Was It - And A Boo Boo

This post will be short, because I am typing it with one hand.  I spent most of the day in the emergency room.  It seems I tore ligaments in my left shoulder.
I am left handed.  I have a sling type contraption on.  It could be 4-6 weeks to heal.

So posts, and comments on your post will be few.  Please make sure you are signed up as a follower, to see when I post again.

Sorry - no decorating pictures.  Hard to decorate with just one arm.

Weekend Where Is it?    The first pic was Savannah Ga.  The second picture of a steeple in Les Andelys, France.
11 guessed right.  3 wrong.

  4. Penny, I'm certainly sorry to hear of your accident. Sounds like the best thing you can do is to kick back and take it easy for the next 4-6 weeks. We'll all still be here. Know that you are in our thoughts. Sending best wishes for a speedy and easy recovery. ~ sarah

  5. How terrible! You take it easy and just try to enjoy the down time. I know that is easier said than done, especially around Christmas. Get better soon!!!

  7. Penny, Penny, Penny! Bless your heart! I empathize because I had a partially torn tendon in my shoulder (from a bone spur) about 3 years ago and it was extremely painful. Routine, everyday chores like styling my hair and getting dressed were almost impossible. I refused cortisone treatment so an ice pack was my best friend for WEEKS and WEEKS. Acupuncture helped considerably too but it was well over a year (probably closer to 2 years) before I got full range of motion back in that arm. I wish you well.

  22. What a devil of a problem it must be to have your whole dominant arm out of commission. Things always seem to happen at the busiest time too don't they? I know you are busy most of the time tho. I do hope it heals quickly for you.

  27. Penny, I am sorry to read that this has happened to you. I know that your darling hubby will be a great help. Now sit back and sip something good and watch the transformation. Wish that I were closer so I could help (I will pray!); I'm sure that I could take direction well and learn a few tips along the way.

  40. Dear Penny, I am so sorry to hear about your poor shoulder. Were you helping Mr. Comfort by any chance? Don't answer, I will not expect to hear from you for a few weeks. Sigh! Now you are forced to rest and that is a good thing. A bit of the bright side of this injury. A dim bright I admit.

On the photos...my intuition was right and my answer was wrong. I gotta start listening to my intuition. Smile.

Hugs and prayers for a swift recovery my dear friend,
    Jeanne

  44. Oh Penny,
I am so sorry. It's painful to get hurt, but more painful to have to be still when you are as creative as you are. I'll be saying a prayer for a healing and for you not to be in so much pain.

  46. Penny, I'm so sorry to hear about your shoulder. Of all people, I can understand how tough it is to be less than 100%. My only advice is listen to your doctor and rest.

I'll say a special prayer for you. I know how difficult it will be for you to sit still when you have projects you want to complete.

Let me know if you need anything and I'll mail it to you. That way you know it will arrive. LOL.

    Special hugs, Gretchen
