Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree....

While in Naples, Florida last week, I went shopping at  a place called Waterside Shops.  It is very upscale, with a Tiffany's, Coach, Hermes, Burberry, Ralph Lauren and more.

I really wasn't shopping, just ogling all of the amazing stores and Christmas decorations.

I have not started decorating yet.  I am a little behind, due to my trip.

So, I thought I would show you some Florida style decorating.  Isn't fun to see, how different areas of the country decorate?  You really need to double click on the pictures to see how fun these trees are!

I will be decorating over the next 4 days, and will post some photos as I go along.
Welcome Home,
Penny

  3. They are so pretty (I did take a closer look) and so like a fantasy tree in Candyland... imaginative and lovely. Are you going to add a little whimsy to your traditional decorating? Guess I'll just have to wait and see.

  16. What interesting trees, a good job of combining the idea of a traditional tree with the feeling of the tropics. Standing them in the water is brilliant I think.

  17. Hi Penny....After living in Florida for a short time, their version of Christmas seems to different from up north. Maybe it is just me. I am an up North girl when it comes to the holidays! I will be decorating the next few days myself! A little bit of white on the ground is making it a little more conducive to the atmosphere!~Hugs, Patti

  24. You are so correct, it is great fun to see how different areas of the country decorate for Christmas.
This is the time of year I really miss my upstate NY and New England roots. Living in Southern California is very different, especially at Christmas time.
When I lived in San Francisco for a while I remember how surprised I was when Santa didn't arrive by sled...he came on a trolly car!
It is fun how all the areas celebrate in their own style.
    Fun post.
