Favorite Ornaments

Our tree is decorated with all glass ornaments, that we have collected over time.
I can't seem to get a good photo of the whole tree, but here are a few of my favorite ornaments.

Every Country French decorated home needs a rooster ornament, don't they?

And I love this stocking, it has the prettiest colors on it.

Do you hang candy canes on your tree?

Don't forget to sign up for the CSN $60 giveaway.  The giveaway ends Friday, 17th and winner will be announced Saturday the 18th.  Sign up by clicking here and leaving a comment on the giveaway post.

Could you do me a favor?  I had mentioned that I was in a local newspaper photo contest.  The contest ends Dec. 20.  I know some of you have voted for me already.  The top 4 pictures win a prize. Right now I am number 5.  Could you please click here to go to this post and vote again?  If you could vote everyday that would be great....Only if you have time.  Thanks!

Welcome Home,
Penny

Your ornaments are beautiful. I LOVE the rooster! No, I don't hang candy canes on the tree. If I do have candy canes I put them in a decorative cup. It's wonderfully Christmas-y at your house. Beautiful.

Yes, you must have a rooster on your tree. He is so handsome.

My mother used to hang candy canes on her tree.

No candy canes on my tree. Personally I don't care for candy canes...so I don't buy any. But I think they are colorful on the trees. Your rooster ornie is very cute. Haven't seen one of those before!

The stocking ornament is pretty! No no candy canes here! We haven't even put one ornament on our tree and I'm not sure we will this year. It looks pretty with just the lights.

Have a wonderful Christmas!

Cute ornaments. You know I love the rooster. I used to always hang candy canes on the tree. My daughter even asked if I was going to add them. Guess I should keep that tradition going.

I love the jewel like colors of the stocking and rooster, and I just plain love the rooster anyway:>) I just voted again, didn't realize we could do it more than once!

Hi Penny,
I have been having a problem too getting a good shot of the tree, so I haven't posted one. I am going to try again tomorrow. Your glass ornaments are lovely, I love all the color in them.
I hope you are feeling better.

I think I now need a rooster ornament!
No, I don't use candy canes...I did years ago, but I keep scaling back. This year I eliminated my garland, pretty soon it will be just lights! LOL!

I love your ornaments - especially the rooster. I haven't seen a rooster in my shopping for new glass ornaments. I tried to vote for you when you first posted about the contest but I had trouble getting in and then when I did they wanted a lot of personal information to register and I wasn't comfortable giving it to them. Didn't know what to do so I just left without being able to vote. Don't know if I did something wrong.

see you there! said...

Haven't seen a rooster orny before but sure do like yours.

I just voted but as Adrienne said the site sure doesn't make it easy. Now that I'm registered I'll try to vote daily tho. Anything for a pal, LOL!

Yes, candy canes are a tradition! My daughter was over the other night, I had not put them on yet-waiting for my grandaughter to put them on, and she couldn't believe that I had left them off. It is funny how little things that you don't think about being a tradition really sometimes mean the most.Merry Christmas, hope your shoulder is mending well.
