This past weekend, my blog friend Jenn from Sweet Eye Candy Creations, came to Asheville to work on an amazing event that is happening next year. It is called "Once Upon A Dream, A Prairie Fairytale Event". To Learn more about it, click the link button on my sidebar.
While she was here, we got to spend the day together, driving around Asheville and the beautiful countryside surrounding it.
Shall I share a few North Carolina "Country Chic" pictures I took? Please click on any picture to enlarge....especially the last one!
Look at this great vintage tractor!
A pretty end of fall view.
This bull got mad that we were taking its picture and walked behind a stand of trees, so we couldn't take anymore!
Want to come visit me for the day and see some more Country Chic? I would love it!
Welcome Home,
Penny

What a fun day you gals had. I sure enjoyed my visit to see you. We had a great time too. Hope you have a wonderful week. Love & blessings from NC!
Hi Penny, The bull looks like he is mad! I love the vintage tractor. One of these days I am going to make it to Ashville and visit you. I love your town...our son was married at Grove Park Inn.
Hugs, Sherry
You certainly live in a beautiful part of your country - one that I don't know at all except from your posts. Country chic, indeed!
Love the country pic's..what a handsome bully-boy! Love the tractor too and Fall is all but gone isn't it?! :D
Love the pics Penny!
Ashville is just one of the prettiest places around!
Hugs,
Cindy
We had a hereford bull that looked just about like that one. He was not too friendly and was soon replaced by a sweeter one...who, a few years later, replaced by one somewhere in the middle.
After I gave my answer on the where is it, I had second thoughts. I went back and looked again. That was a great where is it, Penny!
oooh what a great day you girls would have had! Ashevill certainly does look amazing, can't wait to be there and see it (and of course, you too) in person next year! Xo
Awesome photos!
You know I want to come for a visit! Being a former farmgirl I have a thing for tractors....and all the beautiful countryside you have down there. Someday my friend...:>)
The fall view is great, I love old weatherd wood. That bull does look a little put out with you taking photo's, LOL!

Penny, love your pics, takes me back to the farm:)
Love the photos! That tractor looks like one of my Dad's! That bull did look mad, but then again I think most of them are!! Glad you had a fun day! I'll be coming back to Asheville some day and when I do I'll give you a shout!!
Hope we can get together when we get back to NC next summer. You can show me more interesting places in my own neck of the woods...lol....Don said "couldn't she find a John Deere tractor". I think he's partial to JD.
What a gorgeous place. I feel relaxed just looking around in each one. I have a fascination for tractors, I am forever photographing them and promising myself I will paint it. I saw a watercolor of a tractor in a field that I found so inspirational. I read about the event and I am sure that you will be there and recording and photographing everything for us to see.
Karen
I must say, that bull does look angry! Your area of the country is gorgeous...in all seasons.
Our tractor is VINTAGE? Cool! I don't know what we'd do in the winter if we didn't have it! Glad you had a great time, and your photos are awesome! Sandi
What gorgeous pictures! I think that bull is trying to "bully" you, LOL!
I love your neck of the woods, and wouldn't mind living there one little bit!
By the way, I got the "where is it" post wrong. I was So Certain, I was right...goes to show ya! Worst part...I've been to biltmore!
Hi Penny,
Beautiful photo's. The fall is such a pretty time of year I think.
The bull is very large...indeed he is! I would so stay out of his way.LOL
It sounds like something fun is in the works..
Have a sweet day and hugs, Elizabeth
Those are some great Carolina pictures, Penny! This is such a great time of year.

Hi Penny,
I love that end of Fall picture. Talk about poetry! So pretty :)
Hugs,
Dena
Fantastic pictures, Penny! :)
I miss beautiful NC and you! There are very few antique shops here and no rolling countryside with angry bulls.
Great photos Penny. Tractors are big deals in the mountains. Over where we live there are even antique tractor parades. Life is good in North Carolina.

Wonderful photos! I would climb on the fence to take that last one! EEEE!!!! ♥
Fun pictures! Still quite a bit of muted color in your world...
