A month ago, my coffee maker died....So, I thought I would get a new one. But I wanted an upgrade. I love Cappuccino, Espresso and Lattes. So I looked for a machine that would make coffee and Espresso combined.
We found one. Bought it. Brought it home only to find out that the coffee side quit working after two days. Though the espresso side worked fine. We returned it to the store.
We looked around for another combo and couldn't find one in our area. So we bought a normal coffee maker. We also bought a separate espresso machine. And I am happy to say, that I love both of the machines.
In the meantime, I had entered a HGTV House Hunters contest online. And guess what? I won something!!!!
I won a combination Espresso machine and coffee maker. It was delivered last week.
Now since I already have a brand new espresso machine and a brand new coffee maker, I want to pay it forward....
I want to pass this brand new, never been open machine on to one of you! Plus, the frother carafe that came with it. Here is a picture I found online of one outside the box.
According to HGTV, this is a $155.00 value.

I have no idea how I found your site but how fun of you to share a prize. Our oldest daughters birthday is also the 22nd. I scrolled down a few posts and saw something about Quiche recipes. That is one of those "simple" things like grilled cheese and pancakes that I can not make. I will have to go check out your recipes. I can make a lot of exotic things but some of the simple things drive me batty.

Good morning Penny, My company just left for Florida a few minutes ago. I so want to take a nap. HA! We have had 40 people here on and off since last Weds. from the camera club. It has been wild and loads of fun. There have been times when both decks have been completely filled with tripods and cameras. This week was a hugs camera club photo op success. I am thankful for time to myself this morning.

Isn't that the way it works? I went to an antique festival yesterday, and we saw an old man that we had bought from before. He asked me if I liked a piece of pottery that he was showing me, and of course I did so he gave it to me! He told us that it is always nice to do something for others, and even nicer for others to pass it on. You are just one of those people! I'm not a coffee drinker, but hubby is one.

Penney, My husband and I visit Balsam Mountain Inn a couple of times a year and went on the train in May for my husbands birthday one year. It was so nice seeing some of the scenery again. How did you like the train museum at the end? I have never won anything, so wish me luck!!

A little fun hint for espresso....sometimes I put a pinch of sugar and a pinch of anise seeds in the grounds. It makes the most divine espresso. Funny, I got this tip visiting with an Italian lady standing in line at the grocery store a long time ago. Worth every minute for the wait to check out.

I can't believe what a struggle it's been lately to get a decent cup of coffee in my own kitchen. Our old Mr. Coffee died, and I replaced it with another cheapo coffee maker, and I think we don't lose as much steam in the brewing as we used to because we just cannot get it right anymore!
