And turn this wall behind the TV into a focal wall.
And possibly make the TV blend in a little in the process.
That's what I am working on this week. Stay tuned for the finished project.

Yes Penny, of course I will come up to Stowe to party if you win. I will bring the homemade cinnamon rolls baked in maple syrup...decadently delicious (if I do say so myself).
I have some Audubon bird prints stuck away somewhere, maybe the dreaded attic. I should get them out and frame some.

I know they will be beautiful Penny! How do I know? Becasue I found that book at a yard sale for $1 several years ago and framed three of the prints (in yard sale frames of course!) for my living room! Can't wait to see yours:>)
I'll bet your wall will look great. I think one of the most difficult things to decorate around is a tv. Do you notice the photo's in shelter magazines never show a tv unless it is in an ad? Like real homes just don't have one.

What a beautiful book! Okay, I'll be watching for the transformation knowing in advance that it'll be terrific. And if that tv blends in...well, that'll be a bonus. I'm always looking for ways to lose the tv.

Oh I can't wait to see what you do with those beautiful prints! I'm working on a 'framing' project myself - but not for my home. It's for my little cabin-on-wheels and will be revealed soon. Making it feel a bit like home when we're on the road!

No project going on here right now -- I'm squeezing all the fun I can out if summer.
Can't wait to see your finished wall with those beautiful bird pictures. We, too, have a big blank wall around our flat screen. We redesigned our entertainment center to hold the flat screen and plan to mount several of the cut off shelves above and to the sides of the TV. Just haven't done it yet.

Penny, I did the same thing with Audubon exotic bird prints for the Florida house. We scanned the pictures and took them to Staples to have them enlarged to the size we wanted. I found beautiful black frames and a deal on mats online. I ended up with eight pictures for about $18.00 each. Your wall will look great!
