I spent a little time in the garage this past weekend making my little world a more colorful place.
See this rusty old rooster planter? No??? Look harder, he is there, but he just blends into the mulch and wood porch!
I was inspired by Brenda at Cozy Little House. Her home and garden are filled with bright beautiful colors. If you click on her link you can see her red rooster. So I took a can of red spray paint....and voila!
Mr. Rooster really POPS now!
I did a little more spray painting with bright yellow and I will show you that next time...
Welcome Home,
Penny

I love him! It just goes to show you what a difference a coat of paint makes. I try to think of that before totally dismissing a diamond in the rough.
Oh Penny.. the red color looks great on it! It faded away before but now it really stands out! Thanks for becoming a follower of my blog today! Your blog is very inspiring to me!~Hugs, Patti

That looks great. I love the red with the blue pot added and it picks up the red in the pillow on the porch. Great.
