So Many Little Time

See those two chairs under the trees?  They are old metal chairs with chippy paint.  One of them has a piece missing on the back.

Mr. Comforts of Home removed the mesh seats for me.  I want to attach chicken wire and landscape fabric and fill with potting soil and plants.

They will be cute, don't you think?

They will probably sit there naked for a while.  I have 58 more bags of mulch to spread.

We are having dinner with a blog friend this weekend and are really looking forward to it.  What are your weekend plans?

Welcome Home,

Can't wait to see the finished product. Umm...plans for the weekend...I am going to do some replanting (my dahlias) did not really like moving from one location to another. So, I am planting some shasta daisies and yarrow. Other than that...just relaxing and reading a book that I've had for two months.

What a cute idea, Penny.
This weekend I'll get ready to go away for work for the week - leaving on Sunday. I'd rather be working in my garden!

They will be perfect in your garden! Love your flowers in bloom, too! We are driving to the Gulf Coast tomorrow to eat grouper. Enjoy your weekend! ♥

I'm so exhausted from reading about your 58 bags of mulch to spread that I think I'll rest this weekend. ;> I hope that you put your blogging bud to work for you! Yes, yes, yes, your chairs will be wonderful and, knowing you, they'll be all done in no time.

They will be so cute as planters! I will be getting up early and hitting lots of yard sales with my mom in the morning. Have a great weekend!

Great idea. I know they will look enchanting. I love unique pieces in the garden.

Enjoy your dinner with your friend.

I'll be taking my mother to the beauty shop this morning, and then going to my grandson's baseball game. Hopefully, I will manage to run some errands in between.

It's supposed to be a hot one today.

Catching up on cleaning, I plan to rearrange my bedroom as soon as I finish this comment;>) and we have a graduation open house this afternoon. You are going to town on your garden Penny! I know it will be beautiful. The chairs will look wonderful, are you going to paint them the same color or leave them as is?

Love your chairs. I had two similar that had lost their webbing. I spray painted them oil rubbed bronze and found pots to sit in them (hanging on the lips of the chair seat). I planted red geraniums and sweet potato vine. So pretty.
