Decoupage

I am linking up with Rhoda at Southern Hospitality for this post.

Decoupage: [French d├ęcoupage, from d├ęcouper, to cut up or out, from Old French descolper : des-, de- + colper, to cut.
Take some vintage French papers....
A vintage French song book...
A paper mache rooster I told you about in this post...

Oh...it is looking very French!  I promise to show it to you when I finish.
Welcome Home,
Penny

Hi Penny, I've enjoyed browsing through your blog. Lots of beautiful and fun things going on your lovely corner of the world. I have an aunt in NC -- visited her last year after not seeing that side of my mom's family since 1982 (I grew up in the South). My kids loved being in the beautiful mountains. Might make the trip again this summer, but not sure yet. Hope you are having a terrific Tuesday. Many blessings, Tammy

Sooo...is it going to be for sale?
Just askin' as they say... :) I have no doubt it is going to be lovely...we KNOW your work!
Penny, it's like this...some people got it and some people ain't..I mean don't. You GOT it!!

Kidding aside, I am so pleased you liked the bistro transformation. Mine are always simple like that. When you like something, I know it looks good!

Mona

I love decopauge and I can't wait to see the finished rooster!

Those plates you asked me about...all it says on the back is a big H surrounded by what looks like two fern fronds to form a sort of crest and on the bottom it says 9 Made In China? I got them at Goodwill last year.

I hope you will share your rooster at the Rooster Party coming up in August.
You have now given me use for left over sheet music I have from a recent project. Thank you.
