Geraniums

I love geraniums.  They remind me of window boxes in France.
I filled some of my planters on our front porch with red geraniums and small white and blue trailing flowers.

Some good news about the Potager.  It stopped raining and I have filled two of the raised beds with the top soil.  Mr. Comforts of Home is finishing building the other two raised beds even as I type this!

What is your favorite garden flower?

Welcome Home,
Penny

  1. I love them all, but foxglove and delphinium are so beautiful and add some lovely height. On the other hand I love the wild colors of Zinnia. Hmmm, I think I could go on all day, guess I love them all!

  3. Thanks for visiting today, Penny! I love geraniums, too. I always pick up a bunch for the front beds and patio planters every year. I love yours in your urn planters by the front door. My other favorite is white allyssum, which spreads and blooms all Summer. I love using it along the edges of borders.

  5. Beautiful, beautiful! Very patriotic, too! Mmmm....I love so many flowers, but I think that if I had to choose just one, it would be lace capped Hydrangeas. Second is snowball Viburnums. Both are very old fashion.

  6. Do I have to pick just one? :0) I think it depends on the season with me. In spring, I love my irises. In summer, my geraniums are my favorite. Come Fall, it is definitely my Mums.

Your planters are beautiful! I love how the geraniums look with the flowers that drape over the planters. Very nice!

  12. Your red and blue flowers looks so pretty together, Penny.

I have lots of shade around my house so I have found that imaptiens do the best. They bloom all summer.

I love your raised beds! Are you going to plant vegetables, herbs or flowers or all three?
