Earlier this month I showed you my small living room that we are using as our TV room. Here is a picture I showed you here.
We have added an area rug to this room too. See the picture below.
It is amazing to me how much warmer the room looks and feels with this rug. Even without any art on the walls.
I love the little bit of blue in the rug. I have been trying to add a little blue, in with all of the red, green and yellow. You can click on the pictures to enlarge and see the pattern better.
We bought one more rug, for the dining room and I will show you that next time.

I love wood floors, but there is no disputing how much color, warmth and beauty a gorgeous rug adds to a room. This makes such a bug difference and I always love orientals the best for their luxurious pattern and color. This is wonderful Penny!
The rug pulls it all together and adds warmth for sure. I am just noticing you have 4 chairs and no couch. I guess with the ottomans it isn't missed!

It looks so lovely.
We have wood floors and when we moved here we put carpet down in the livingroom. We are now planning on removing it and refinish the floors and we will be putting an area rug in the room.
My Daughter has wood floors and can't wait to put carpet down.

The room does have a warmer feeling and the best part is that you can always move the rug if you decide you want to. I love my hardwood floors and I'll bet you do too.

What an amazing difference they make ! Your dining room - all of a sudden that pretty picture on the wall in the red matting pops.
I am especially fond of the TV room rug. I have been looking for a rug with blue in it and my home has very similar colors to yours. May I ask where you got it/who makes it ? I'd love to get one myself.
