Here is what it looks like from my front porch. This is the middle of the day and the street lights came on.

So I will just leave you with this pretty picture of some white roses in a silver mint julep cup I have on my nightstand.

Welcome Home,
Penny

That's an awesome view of the inclement weather from your front porch Penny. It's miserable here too, drizzly, grey and very chilly this afternoon.
White roses in silver, perfection -and I can wait for the mantel a wee bit longer, but I'm really getting anxious!!!!
Paula arrives from Calif.tomorrow - leaving terrible weather out there. Hopefully it will get better here during her long weekend stay.
Stay warm and dry.
Hugs - Mary
That is an ominous looking sky. I believe there isn't a part of the country that isn't having terrible weather. We have freezing rain today. The sidewalks are like ice. The picture of the roses on your night table cheered me up! :-)

The beauty of the roses in silver overshadow the dreariness outside. Looking so forward to the unveiling of your mantel.

I kind of like really dark rainy days like that. I always look forward to them in the springtime because they are so cozy. I see you are loving white flowers this time of year too. I have white daisies and white primroses around the house. I am liking the calm feel of the whiteness:>) Cozy down and enjoy your fireplace today! I can't wait to see it!
I can't wait to see your fireplace! But I loved your photos today. Hope you're sitting by the fire, sipping something hot! ~Adrienne~
Pretty impressive weather you're having... But rats! I want to see the mantel. Oh well, can't fight with Mother Nature.
we had a LOT of fog here Saturday & Sunday. yikes, we got all turned around it was so thick. pretty, but a little spoo-kay!
One word for all: lovely.
Brenda
I think fog is enchanting. Yes, enchanting is the word I chose. What an enchanting photo. Have a wonderful week/weekend!
Penny~Looks almost like you were in for a tornado with those dark skies! Hope the sun is out tomorrow for you. I'm heading to Naples tomorrow~wish you were going to be there too, but I know you've had your hands full with re-doing your lovely new home. Everything is looking just gorgeous penny! xo
Beautiful roses! What a great nature picture!
What can I say...I am an odd one..LOL. I think that is a comforting picture. When I see weather like that I just imagine sitting on my couch with a nice warm cover, sipping tea and reading...
That's a beautiful foggy shot, Penny. I've struggled with photography all winter. We could sure use some sunshine for more reasons than one!:-)
Penny white roses are my fav. to wake up to!I took the time to catch up on your recent posts..WOW what a studio you have created for yourself!! I can see so much inspiration just being in the space! Your stash of tea cups and saucers on the side unit what a tea party you could host!!! I know they are used for your mosaic craft. It would be intereting to look at each set.
I love that pig that you have in the studio!!! I love pigs..never eat them. So good to be visiting again because I'm feeling normal once again..my spirit has come out of hiding.
love and light aNNa xoxoxo
