We moved all of the boxes of my dishes (for mosaics) upstairs out of the garage into my studio. Before I can put anything up, I want to paint the built in cabinets at the end of the room in a fresh, crisp white.

The back stairs going down from the studio...we need to replace those lights one day...

Boxes to unpack...

I am the type of person that normally likes to finish on project before I move on to another, but with this house remodel it seems I am working on 5 projects at once.
Are you still hanging in there with me? I still need to finish the master bath, and two guest baths. Want to see what happens next, even if I bounce from room to room?
Welcome Home,
Penny

Yes indeed, I want to see more ...no matter what order!
The studio floor looks great! You have such a nice big area. Even with as much fun as you are having with the remodel, I bet you can't wait to have your studio organized and sit done peacefully with your first project!
Penny-I have been missing your posts some how. You have made so much progress and I LOVE that floor. Your studio is going to be fabulous. Love your powder room too--I have been thinking about redoing mine and yours inspires me!!
I am hanging in and enjoying every visit. LOVE, LOVE that floor!!!
Of course we want to see more! I love the floor and if that were my studio space I would be in there 24/7. It is going to be a wonderful place to create your beautiful mosaics:>)
Your floor is amazing. I remember that,at one time, you were going to hand paint it...is this tile?
ANYway, everything is just beautiful...you are making an amazing home for you and Mr. Confort....
hugs, bj
From this side, it looks like things are really coming together. Your studio is huge this time! Lots of room for creativity.
Of course, we want to see what else you are doing! I love all of your ideas and your studio is amazing! Can't wait to see more!
Hugs,
Lee Laurie
Bounce all you want Penny, I'm right here with you! I love that flooring!
Hugs,
Dena
Multi-tasking is good! I love the floor. I know that it didn't double your space but it looks like it did.
May I come to live in your studio? Love it!!!
Of course I want to see how it all turns out! This has been most interesting. With all the projects I have in mind, The Great Dane has started building another wooden shed - the waste of energy when he could be painting or laying tile!
It will be good when you are back in full flow--cottonreel
It looks great, Penny! Oh, it's such a large room, you're gonna have a ball in here! I'm still so amazed with all you've done to your new house yourself! I still need to know what vitamins you take! :) lol
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Please - more, more, more! Your floor turned out nice - great choice!
Looking forward to seeing more, Penny. The studio looks great....I know you'll love working in there.
Hugs,
Donna
You poor dears probably don't even have time for the holidays, you're so busy!

The floor looks great. I just know you will love your large working space. Bet you can't wait to get back to your beautiful work.
Have fun,

Keep bouncing - I'm bouncing with you! You inspire me and I wish I could finish up my home projects at the pace you and Mr. Comfort are doing yours. Hey, why don't you come over here when you're finished with yours? I know I'll still be far behind and there will be plenty to do! Seriously, I love checking in to see what you've done. It's coming together and I love everything you've done. Keep up the good work! ~Adrienne~
Hi Penny
The floor looks fabulous! You must be very hapy with how oyur studio is shaping up. Hugs, Rhondi
That floor is awesome and so is the toile bathroom! I love seeing all the beautiful projects you are accomplishing!
Oh, Penny! I wish Santa would bring me a sewing room as big as your studio. I cannot complain, though, as I have a room just for quilting. Bigger would be nice. "Santa, are you listening?"
I love the floor and the shelves and can't wait to see it finished.
If I am ever in NC I may show up on your doorsteps for a tour. I'll bring cookies to bribe you!
Have a wonderful holiday in your new HOME.
Penny your new studio is going to be gorgeous! Please continue to post photos of your new home, they are delightful! ♥
WOW!!! this has got to be the one of the best creative spaces I have ever seen.........fantastic.....
Oh Penny, I know I am not supposed to be but I am so jealous of your studio.....and that floor....oh my! I have always wanted a checked floor like that. We have to refinish our foyer eventually ...so maybe...just maybe I will get it it in checks. Happy Holidays friend if I don't see you again for a while. xo Lynn

Great space to showcase and create Penny! Loved the finished look in your last post!!You are multi tasking!! Hope you're resting in between projects. hugs
The floor turned out great! It seems to me you're making wonderful progress everywhere. :)
This room looks great Penny. I love the floor and the two white hutches are perfect. I can only imagine how much work this is to accomplish. Great space too, tucked in the back of the house and up the stairs. You can really get in the creative zone in this room.
Karen
I think you are doing wonderfully and I love seeing the progress. Kerrie
Penny~
I'm still enjoying the entire process! Your taste and talent are amazing~

Of course I want to see what is next, but take some time to enjoy the holidays, OK?
Keep on keeping on dear friend - we love following!
Wow, floor is fabulous Penny - what a difference it makes to the studio. You are going to create non-stop when all the decorating is finished.
Where did you get those tiles. I'm in NC and have been searching for tiles just like that.
