The tiles are about 40 inches up from the floor. Protective paper has been laid on the black and white floor tiles, while the walls are being tiled. The rest of the walls will be painted.

I finally was able to find a little time to change out the dying flowers in the lions urns with some pumpkins and fall leaves...

Off for more sister time...See you soon.
Welcome Home,
Penny

Hi Penny,
The subway tile is one of my most favorites. It's all going to look so wonderful and I know you can't wait to start using your new bathroom and really living in your beautiful home.

Hello Penny, I am so glad you are getting some sister time. I have been so busy for the last 20 days with family time. First my cousin than my SIL and hubby. At the same time my aunt and uncle from MI. My now known to blogland 'Aunt Shirley and Uncle Bill' Whew. I am sorry I haven't been visiting lately. No computer time!!!
I have scrolled down to catch up on your posts. Love the subway tile. The bathroom will be awesome. The dining room furniture looks very French country. A great design. Congrat's on being featured in Sanctury Art's at Home. WOW Penny, awesome.
Gotta cook dinner so I must sign off. Steaks on the stove, sigh!!! It is pouring outside.
Have a wonderful time with your sisters.
Hugs, Jeanne

I love, love, love the tiles! I adore those types of tiles.
The tile is fantastic. And, it is just what I would have chosen, too.
Have a wonderful day with your sister.
Hi Penny,
Love the progress going on at your house. The tiles are wonderful. I also love the inspiration photos in the previous posts. Your home is going to be lovely!
Hugs,
Donna
I love your subway tile and have it in our master bath too. I've been thinking of using it in our kitchen as the back splash. I have white cabinets and so I'm not sure. Mimi
Penny,
That bathroom is going to be gorgeous, with black and white tile. You must be having so much fun decorating your new home.

Oh Penny...you home is going to be just fantastic. I did the white tile in my previous home...and I loved it! After my husband died..I had to leave everything and come back home..but...just seeing yours reminded me of how gorgeous it all was!
This is really coming together so well Penny - love the floor, and breaking up the plain subway tile with one row of embossed is delightful.
Congrats. on being featured on Sanctuary Art - that was a great interview and the pics of your work are awesome.
Hope you're having more sister fun this week. We had a good trip to PA - good to be back as I have lots to do. Picked up the chair frame yesterday, bought paint so hope to get it done in the next few days then return it to the upholsterer nect week.
Hi to K from us both. Still hoping to see you on 11/6.
Hugs - Mary.
Loving those subway tiles Penny. I can't help but I always gravitate to plain white tiles. :)
Penny! You have been a busy camper since I last stopped by! Oh the idea for your bedroom I love!!
How exciting this time is for you!
We've also been doing a few changes here..painting and purging all the excess..simple is best for us.
Feeling wonderful 2 more to go!!
hugs aNNa xo
Hi Penny,
It's looking great. I really wanted white subway tile when we did our kitchen but hubby and I made a lot of compromises so we would both be happy. I don't mind though because he has pretty good taste.
Hope you have a chance to come by before next Tues. I'm having a giveaway and there's lots of red!
Hugs,
Dawn
I love subway tiles! It is going to be gorgeous!!!
Morning Penny,
I can see it all coming together and it is going to be absolutely gorgeous!
Hugs,

Hi it's 6ish am in California and I finally got to catch up on your progress. Looks great and the subway tiles paired with the b & w floor is really fabulous. Book tour progresses, too but I wish my body would adjust to west coast time already!
Penny, you don't know how much I am enjoying your new house renovations. I'm one step behind you (we close tomorrow on our new home) and since I love your style and impeccable taste in French Country decor, I'm taking notes on everything you are doing!
Darn it though, I'm still drooling over your dining table and chairs. Do you have any idea how old that set is, or who the furniture manufacturer is? I really want something like that. I NEED something like that! ;)
