"Moving" Right Along

Things are moving right along. Today, I applied the second coat of paint to the studio floor. I also primed over the ugly chocolate brown dining room walls. I will post pictures of the dining room tomorrow with the new color.

The bead board has started to go up in the powder room. I am still waiting for the black toile wallpaper to be delivered for the top half of the walls.

Here is a picture (from the company's website) of the tub I ordered for the master bath. I am not sure when it will be delivered. I am calling the company tomorrow.

After all of the painting I have been doing, I can't wait to soak in this tub....Though it looks like it could be a month or so before we finished the master bathroom.
Welcome Home,
Penny

I just looked through a couple of posts, Penny. Everything is looking so great. I love how you painted the studio floors and the urns were made for your new front door!

Penny,

With school in full swing, I am finding less and less time to blog and to read blogs........but I don't miss yours. I love following along with this transformation. Thanks for continuing to share during this busy time. That tub looks heavenly.

Hi Penny, I was here yesterday and for some reason I didn't comment. Something distracted me I guess.

I love that bath tub. It is so romantic and beautiful. I just know you can't wait to use it. My tub is so large, I can hardly get out of it. I need to grip something to get myself out of it. That something is usually Bill. LOL. My knees are not as strong as I would like them to be. I am working on them. In fact, something I thought I would NEVER do, I have a fabulous stationary bike in the back corner of my great room. It is so important for me to see it so I will use it. sigh! One day I hope my knees will be ok without that exercise.

Well I didn't mean to get off track. sorry. I am loving your progress on your new home so please keep posting.

Have a wonderful day and don't work too hard. LOL, what a silly thing to say. I know you are doing just that.

Hugs, Jeanne

Like our dear Jeanne, I can't get out of the tub easily - a crane might help, lol! - so stick to the shower these days! I'll envy you soaking in this beauty - but you will certainly have earned every second in it Penny.
