Every day when I drive over to the new house to work, I bring something over from the old house. It is mostly the things we have outside. Like outdoor furniture, pots, etc. Today, Mr. Comforts of Home came with me and he was able to bring our heavy cement lion urn planters. Here they are at our old house.....
And here they are at our new house. (The door is getting painted red this week!!).
Don't they just look happier at our new house?Welcome Home,Penny

Yes they do look happier. My plants thrive when they find a happy spot!
They most certainly do! I love the front of your house, cant wait to see what it will look like when the door is red but I think it will be a knock out.. take care, Maryann
They look wonderful at the new house and, yes, they do look happier! And I think they will 'pop' when the door is painted red. Can't wait to see it! ~Adrienne~

Makes it look like a real home now. :)
Beautiful planters and a lovely welcoming entryway Penny.
Thank you so much for the tip about removing the stains from the plates......I might try this when it stops raining, and I remembebr to pick up peroxide!!
Kind of you to take the time - know you are so busy these days.
Hope this coming week goes well dear.

~elaine!
Beautiful, Penny! I'm enjoying what you're doing with the new house!
They do have a big smile, and I believe they are going to love the red door.
This is so much fun. Well, I do know it is a lot of work for you. ;-)
Hi Penny
Putting the planters at the entrance of your new home help it say "welcome" and when you get the door painted red...wow! It's going to be fabulous. Our house needs painting ourside and we plan to do it this fall. Right now the doors are white. I've been considerering red, but I don't know if it will go with the red brick. Still thinking about it.
Hugs, Rhondi
Very pretty and I so want a red door. My current house is brick and I don't think a red door would work. Maybe one day...
Hi Penny,
Very pretty in deed, but I think they looked great at your old house too. The red on your front door is going to really look great!. I have a red door and I love it, I know you love red too. I can't wait to see it painted. The transom is really pretty above your door we have transom windows on every window in our home and it "really" brings the light in.
Enjoy your day and keep creating,
Elizabeth
When I moved semi-locally I brought the drawers from my old kitchen to the new one, transfered the contents and returned the drawers back to the old kitchen. No packing needed!
The door will look great red, and yes the planters look very happy.
Hello Penny, I am home and happy to be here. My trip was wonderful but I sure missed my blogging friends. Thank you for your visits while I was AWOL. LOL.
I just scrolled down and your progress on your new home is exciting to see. Your planters look perfect by your beautiful door. The color red will really make a difference. I have always loved side windows. I read your dated scheduled and it took my breath away. How utterly exhausting Penny. I hope it all happens smoothly and that goes for your many projects as well. Whew!!!
Hugs xoxo, Jeanne
The plants do look happier! I love, love, love red doors...sigh...someday...
Beautiful home Penny! Our front/side and back doors are all painted red too :-)
