Little Miss Hummingbird was letting me know she wanted a drink from the feeder and to get out of her way! So I stepped back a couple of feet and she landed and started to eat.
After looking around for a while, she flew away and let me get back to work.

We had one in the garage. It was dazed. J picked it up and took it outside and it flew away, just fine.
Penny, I had better learn to mosaic. On Thursday alone Clyde the cat broke one dish. It was on the cabinet with kitty snacks in it and he sailed across the counter and sent it across the next room. Then later I bumped into a shelf and down came a mug. I've got shards filling a box in the garage. I think of you when I see them there. I need your talent!

Our hummingbirds are emptying the feeder almost as fast as I fill it. Long ago I had them on the front porch but they would dive bomb me when I was on the swing, so I had to move them to the back yard.

WOW! You have really been busy these past couple of weeks! I love to house hunt, too but I wish you were looking closer to AVL! I know you'll find something you love though and enjoy making it your own! We actually hung our hummingbird feeder on the balcony and we have a humming bird visiting every day! My neighbor has a lot of hummingbirds in her yard because she has many hummingbird feeders. When I go over to take care of their dogs, I sit outside and could just watch them all day. They are so pretty and interesting.
