House Number 3

House number 3. Now in this picture it looks pretty good. This is from the realtor website. You can see that it was late fall when this was taken. It seems like a sunny location.

Here is the kitchen. I have never seen an island this big. This house was quite dated, but nothing that couldn't be fixed with time and money. The fact that this was near the top of our price range, makes a major kitchen redo not something that would happen for a while.

Here is the living room below. Doesn't it look bright and sunny? All of these pictures were taken last fall, by the realtor when the leaves were off the trees.

Well, in reality the house was really dark. There were so many trees on the lot, that no sunlight came into the house. It had a basement that was partially finished. This house has been empty for over a year. The house smelled like mildew. The yard was small and very steep.

We are passing on this one too. There is always tomorrow...

Welcome Home,

Penny

That is one awesome island! The house has some good curb appeal too. Keep showing house pics - I enjoy seeing them!

We moved 6 months ago and looked at 75 houses before settling on this one. We knew as soon as we walked in that this was the house. Yeah, everything is not perfect but just about everything is what we wanted. House hunting is fun but exhausting. We ended up being under a tight time frame as our house sold so quickly and caused some mega hunting sessions that wore me out! I continue to go on listingbook after we moved to look at houses in the area- fun way to get to know the new area.

Wow, too bad, I liked the outside. How do people buy homes sight unseen off the itnernet? I know some people do that but really as you've shown pictures can be so misleading!
