A Generous Heart

I love GERANIUMS. So when Karen from A Scrapebook of Inspiration had a giveaway a while back offering to paint miniature paintings of our favorite flowers, I chose GERANIUMS.

I received my package from Karen in the mail yesterday and just LOVE my GERANIUM painting.

Here is a close up. I can't wait to get it framed.

Karen is the most talented woman. She is an amazing artist. Paint, graphics, photography and writing whimsical fanciful posts are just a few art forms she has mastered. Stop in and visit her. You will be drawn into a land of whimsy that is so charming. Thank you Karen! I love my painting. Karen also has an ETSY shop where she is selling more of these beautiful GERANIUM paintings.
Welcome Home,

Penny, it is beautiful. Karen painted the pitcher of hydrangeas I have on my kitchen counter for me. You got red, and I got blue. ;-)

We're both very lucky ladies. And, that Karen is not only immensely talented, she has a kind heart, too.

This reminds me of a painting I had years ago. Don't know what happened to it. It was of geraniums on a porch. And I just loved it! I wonder where that got off to???

I love geraniums too. I hear they are a favorite in window boxes in France! Karen did a lovely job on the painitng.

I tried the tip about bleaching the stain from my blue bird plates with hydrogen peroxide. It worked wonderfully! I'm going to post it on Met Mon next week. Thanks so much for the advice!

Hi Penny,
I do love the red geraniums, they were one of my Grandmothers favorite plants. I just saw your muslin pillows, they are so creative and would look great in any room of the home. You always amaze me with your grafts.
Big hugs,

So sorry to read about the fading of your feed sack. The pillows are still very charming.
