I can't wait to see the finished project, Penny! I'm sure it will be beautiful like all your other mosaics. May I ask how you cut your plate to get such even pieces in the border?! Can you tell I've never done anything mosiac in my life?!! lol!!
It's going to look just wonderful! I can't wait to see it all finished!
Could you talk a bit about how you do this? I have that buffet that I keep out on the screened porch that I'd love to do this to but I can't figure out how to finish off the edges.
Oh Penny, this is going to look fabulous. Boy I wish I had a piece of mosaic in my home. I went to some town and saw this wonderful sideboard and the top had mosiac in the pink tones, and I just loved it!
We do however have a woman that does wonderful work near me that does mosiac pieces, but I can never afford it at that time. She also does the mosiac tea fountains which I love too!
I may have to learn how to do it myself one of these days.
Hi Penny, Oh I love your blog background. That rooster mosaic is fantastic. I would love that in my tuscan villa kitchen. Can't wait to see it finished. It will be wonderful in your dining room. It is nice to make something for one's self occasionally. I seem to not find time for that, but I keep trying. LOL
Thanks for your kind comment on my studio again. I am so honored that I inspired you in anyway with my toile. I love your red toile studio. I also know what you mean about cleaning up after each project. That goes on constantly in mine. So I guess I just work and clean. LOL!!
Hi, Penny, its me cottonreel dropping by again. If I look at your site it gives me inspiration to keep going, I will have you say eventually "You,ve cracked it girl" (no pun intended)I,m off to my garage now (it is my workshop) to fill in the cracks (oh!dear) in the tray. I will not hide it away after all the first quilt is always a learning curve .
