My buffet is almost finished. Hopefully I will have it done in the next couple of days. Oh! and I picked up the thing I needed to finish my red silverware chest at Michael's the other day, so I should be getting that finished soon too. Welcome Home, Penny
Penny, you have been busy. Your buffet is going to be a fine looking accent in your dining area. You know I love the rooster. I may have mentioned I have roosters and hens in my kitchen and bunches of them in my cabin. Love the look.
Thank you for your sweet comments about our anniversary and my post today.
Oh, this is going to be so pretty. I have a buffet, of sorts, that I will be posting about soon..in fact, it is on pre-schedule draft right now. I mentioned wanting to mosaic the top...I have never..EVER done this before. I don't even know where to get the pieces..I know they need to be flat but ....well, I am going to try it, anyway. I'm scared...maybe I'll do a smaller item first... I have a vintage bed tray that would be great so guess I might try that first...
Your buffet is going to be a traffic stopper. That is just going to be a piece de resistance' no doubt about it!! Penny you do beautiful work! An amazing artist! ~smiles~ Mona
Good morning Penny I happen to be sitting by my computer this moring as I do some hand sewing so I heard the little sound that I had mail! The sideboard is looking great. Hope you enjoy your day. I have an old friend who has moved to Brazil coming today for a visit so I'm looking forward to that. Hugs, Rhondi
Hi Penny, Your side table is looking great!. I think you might need your strong boys to help carry this one into the house. I can't wait to see it all finished. I just read about the bear, Oh my I would have been screaming and hiding in the closet. How scary but also exciting getting see a bear up close and personal. I'm so glad you and hubby were safe. Great posts. Enjoy your day, Elizabeth
Penny, \That is just beautiful...... How did you like working with the thicker pottery?..... I think it is harder..... it doesn't nip as easy..... I know that has been a lot of work..... but it will be so worth it... HUgs Linda
Good thing you have a blog about home and other things. I enjoy reading and be inspired on about everything. Would be looking forward to what you're gonna post next here. Though I would be looking through you exclusive "mosaic" creations too. Who knows, maybe I'll get to try it someday too. Simple and easy projects only :-)
Hi Penny....beautiful buffet...your work is always terrific...But what about that bear!! Can't believe it was so close to the house...We have bears around here too but luckily I have never run into one while walking Boo at 2:00 a.m....I hope it stays that way....
