Remember this silverware chest I posted about a couple of days ago?
Here it is after painting three coats of Apple a Day Red on it. This color is the same color as the red hutch in my dining room. This is just the base coat. Still lots more work to be done....
It's coming along! I love that shade of red and have admired your china cabinet "from afar" lol! I have a china cabinet that I'd like to paint but I'm not sure if I should go "bold" and do the read or stay 'safe' and do an antique white or something, but thanks for sharing what you're doing, because I feel inspired. :0) Enjoy your day!
Penny, I love the color red. That chest will be gorgeous when you are finished. Thanks for stopping by today. I am up late as my day was filled with things to do. I am tired so I will say goodnight
Hey Penny! Love the silverware chest...I remember the color from other photos you've posted. I can't wait to plant my pansies. Cute bunny planter, just in time for Easter.
Penny first time to visit your beautiful blog. Red to me has always been an inspiration color to me.I love that shade of red. I like that make over Penny. I have Ed's Grandmothers silverplate flatware in an old chest. The chest looks worn and is hidden in a drawer... Good idea! Never thought about just ... painting it.
