As I trudged through the snow today and up the stairs into the house, spring was the only thing on my mind. I am so ready this year. Perhaps it's all that's going on, but it feels as if spring could help.
Spring is Far from Peeking Out Here in Michigan...but Until then...I Love Looking At Your Photos Penny...they give me Hope and Cheer my Winter Weary Spirit! Thanx!:)
Penny, I took pictures yesterday of some of my tulips peeking up through the brown leaves in one of my beds. Ahh... I hope they persevere. We are in the middle of a blizzard today. About 3 inches so far, and it keeps on coming.
Yeah - finally - the first sign of Spring in your garden - not much longer and everything in your beautiful area of North Carolina will be in bloom. Have a lovely week. Blessings, Erin
Oh I'm trying really hard to welcome Spring but it snowed today! :( Well, it might just be the crazy weather and I will wish that next week is going to be sunny and warmer. :)
Your new header is just beautiful...very nice job! Out here in West Texas, our winter has been so mild, I've not been as anxious for warm weather as most of you have. As I've mentioned, we have a lot of blowing dust during March, April, May and into June...then, we have the most beautiful of summers. So...I am pulling for SUMMER !! xo bj
Everything is blooming here in Atlanta. The trees, the daffodils, even my roses have the beginnings of buds. I was already hot yesterday! I had to have the AC on in the car!
I know the calender disagrees with me, but I hereby declare Spring here! The raindrops, and balmy 45 degree weather(Hey, it's Michigan! You wouldn't believe how balmy 45 can be!) prove it:>) I even see some of my bulbs peeking out!
Hi Penny, I just love your new cover look!. I was just thinking of changing mine too!. My camellia's are blooming and that is my first sign of spring, I can't wait either.
Ahhhhhhhh Spring. Did I tell you that we had more snow? Well, that's okay it will be nice moisture for the Spring flowers as it melts today. Gorgeous photo. Karen
Hi Penny, love that Hyacinth sprouting up!! My tulips and daffodilas are doing the same... Thanks for your recent visit and comment- I really enjoy your blog! Monica.
Yippee for eating outdoors!! Oh how I love the smell of hyacinths. I planted some and they bloomed once but I never saw them again. I imagine some little critter enjoyed the bulbs. :(

I really like your header pictures. It all looks so fresh and cheery.
Penny,
What a sweet sight! It is gloomy and cold here. I would rather it be snowing! But I am going to be patient, spring is just around the corner! :-)

Dido! Hurry Spring!
Ours is here, but I have a brown yard from all the cold we had this winter in Florida! We need some rain to make things better.
